Story
We adopted Cruz late March 2019, when he was about 6 weeks old. Shortly after adopting him, we found out we were pregnant with our 2nd child. While we love having him as a pet, he's not getting the attention he deserves with 2 small children in the household. We're looking for an owner/family that can take him on walks and play with him daily. He's a fantastic dog, great with kids and well behaved. He's been through training courses and understands all the basic commands. We have an older dog that he is very good with and he has gotten along with other dogs in the past but there is an adjustment period for him. He does not need to be kenneled during the day or at night but will take advantage of hoping in the couch or bed if you let him. He's very inquisitive and always interested in what your doing and hoping he can be a part of it.

Story
Available by Appointment only: A house isn't a home without Luke. He knows how to light up the whole room with his pure joy. It's in the way he plays with his toys, with pure gratitude. It's in the way he leans into you and buries his head in your lap as he waits patiently for affection and ear scratches. It's in the way he goes outside and lifts his head to the sky, smiling the whole time. He enjoys simple things such as long walks in the woods or finding some water to play in. His presence will remind you to stop and enjoy the small things. The peace he brings makes you know that if a shelter dog can be this happy for no apparent reason, so can you. When he's an office dog, he smiles at everyone that passes by, and in return people smile back at him creating a ripple effect of joy. If he can do that to an office, think what he can do for an entire home. If you would like a dog that is a best friend, a quiet supporter that will always be on your side, and a life long love, this dog may be your match. He does need to be the only dog though because he enjoys getting all of the attention!

Story
Besides those teefers and his super cuteness, Bodhi is a happy guy ready for fun! We don't know his mix, but many think he looks like he has Boxer in him. He spent time in a foster home and worked on housetraining, commands, off leash recall, and being calm in the home. He gets excited and playful outside, but once inside the home he calms down and wants to sit beside you or on your lap if you let him!

Story
Lydia gives the best hugs and is known for her sweet affection. She has made quite an impression on staff and volunteers with her loving disposition and her desire for adventure. She would love to find a running partner to burn off energy then snuggle time on the couch to unwind from the day. She tends to connect with females easily. She warms up to males quickly, especially if there is a treat involved...then it's easy to win her heart. She's a special girl to us; whoever adopts this beautiful dog will always have a best friend.

Story
Over a year ago, my husband rescued this dog from a home that had abandoned Daisy while tied to a tree with no food / water. He took Daisy in and provided her with food, water, and shelter; with the intention of finding her a home as we already had another pitbull. While taking her to the vet we learned that she was unable to be adopted as she had heart worms. Thus, over the next 6+ months we fostered her in our home with our pitbull, two cats, and our two young daughters so she could complete her heart work treatment; as of Feb she is clear. During this time we fell in love with Daisy, but quickly learned that Daisy does not get along with our other pitbull, thus we had to keep the two dogs separated at all times. Since she is clear of heart worms, we are looking for a family that would love to adopt Daisy. Daisy is a gentle soul, loves snuggles, bacon, and a good bell rub.
