Story
Meet Jazzie Sweet Jazzie is a 4-year-old Boxer mix weighing a perfect 37 pounds — a smooth, soulful little tune in dog form. She came to the shelter as an owner surrender, and like many dogs who lose the only home they’ve known, she arrived scared, shaking, and out of rhythm with the world around her.But every good jazz song builds slowly — and so did Jazzie’s trust. With soft voices and patient kindness, she began to warm up, finding her groove as she accepted treats and leaned into gentle reassurance. Beneath her fear is a tender, loving heart, full of quiet melody and hope.Jazzie isn’t built for the harsh noise of a kennel. She belongs in a calm home where life moves at a mellow tempo — comfy blankets, steady love, and a human who will help her feel safe again. With time and consistency, this sweet girl is ready to swing back into a joyful life.If you’re looking for a gentle, soulful companion who will bring warmth to your days, Jazzie is ready to play her beautiful new song with you.January 21, 2026, 12:51 am

Story
We adopted him in Ponchatoula. He's just over a year old. He is very energetic! He plays a little rough, and would not be suitable for small children or those that are unstable on their feet. He is sweet and never meets anyone who he doesn't love. He is a remarkable jumper/parkour enthusiast. (3 plus feet upright) Spud is very food motivated and has been trained to do many tricks. (Sit/stay, outside/inside, go potty, upstairs/downstairs, lay down, waits for permission to eat, give kisses, kennel, shake/high five, dance (will jump up to your waist for a little boogie). Spud needs a backyard to get his zoomies out. He requires frequent potty breaks and attention. He will let you know when he wants your undivided attention. Looking to rehome him due to a career change that prohibits us from having a Pitt mix around children.

Story
I'm having to rehome a very special foster pup named Nina Beth, and while it truly breaks my heart to do so, I’m hoping to find her the loving, permanent home she deserves. She rescued from a bad situation. Due to circumstances beyond our control and to no fault of hers, we are needing to rehome her. Nina Beth is a female pit puppy, ~8 months ~40 lbs, black with white, recently spayed, microchipped, UTD on all vaccinations and parasite prevention. She is housebroken and kennel trained. Knows how to sit and can catch treats. She has done well with both our large and small dogs, and also with one of our cats that doesn't show fear. Some honest notes, she is timid around men she does not know yet, she has malformation in her back knee joints but does not slow her down, she snores...LOUD. She will come with a personalized collar, a large kennel, blankets, toys, a bag of Purina Pro Plan Puppy food and whatever is left of her heartworm/flea/tick prevention meds (currently 5 months).

Story
Meet Henrietta, a female American Pitt Bull Terrier, currently weighs 49 lbs. With estimated Date of Birth 11/05/2019. She is house broken, enjoys play time and requires a secured fenced yard for running and exercise. Henrietta adores people and does well with teenagers and adult, she especially likes cuddling. She is not fond of sharing her time, love and food with other pets, and therefore must be the only fur-child in the family. She loves her special person so much that she wants all the attention and love to herself. Henrietta was found as a stray, therefore is looking for a home who understands that at some point she didn`t have anything, so finds it hard to share her toys and food. In a home as the only pet you will find she`s a fantastic and loving companion. Henrietta will become your best friend and will give you years of loving companionship.
