Meet Ozzy!Ozzy is a big, lovable guy with an even bigger heart! This young adult boy is friendly, social, and absolutely loves his people. He may be strong and can get excited during playtime, but he’s also able to settle down and relax when the fun is over.Ozzy is a sniffing superstar and loves putting his nose to work. Give him a snuffle mat or another enrichment activity, and he’s one happy pup! He’s also a big fan of treats, which will come in handy as he works on his basic training. He already knows “sit” and is ready to learn more.Ozzy isn’t particularly interested in toys (at least not the ones we’ve offered him), but he has plenty of other ways to have fun. With his sweet nature and playful personality, Ozzy could make a wonderful companion for a family ready to help him continue learning and growing. He may have potential to live with dogs or cats with proper introductions and would do best with mature kids who can handle his size and strength.If you’re looking for a gentle, goofy, treat-loving guy who just wants to be your best friend, Ozzy is ready to meet you!

Story
Hi Everyone! My name is Lotus. Just like a beautiful flower that takes time to blossom and bloom. I am a roughly 7–8-year-old, boxer mix of some sort. I am sweet, gentle, and quite the snuggler. I have been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and I’m up to date on my heartworm testing. My past is a rough one, I was taken out of a horrible hoarding situation and transferred to this shelter to have a second chance, and to find a loving family that will help me open up even more. I was previously in a foster home, and they helped me come such a long way. They worked with me on my potty training, which I’m still working on, and helped me learn that not all touch is bad and that love really does exist. My new home would be a quiet one, with a fenced in back yard. It would be one that has people who are kind, understanding, and give me time to warm up. Another dog or a cat friend would be a bonus because it definitely helps increase my confidence. It would have lots of snacks, and someone to take pictures of my adorable underbite that will keep you smiling all day long .
