Story
Luna had a rough go before coming on a life saving flight from California. She was saved from the euth list, and we already adore this sweet, goofy, social girl. Here is what the California shelter had to say: Luna is a pocket pittie, 5.5yrs old, very sweet with people now that she’s done nursing - she had been pretty protective of puppies. Luna came to the shelter very pregnant and gave birth to 12 puppies - only 6 survived. All 6 were tagged for rescue, but Luna was left behind. Her owners were identified and had bred her many times but they didn’t reclaim her so she’s been at the shelter since 6/15 - she gave birth to her puppies 3 days later. Luna was dog-tested with a large, confident male shepherd and she did great with parallel walking and then was very relaxed with him in a play yard. He went to drink water and she watched - no issues around a bowl. She went to sniff a toy while he was close and no issues. She loves playing fetch and is a sweetheart who loves playing with people.
