Daisy is a happy, sweet and loving older girl that needs someone to love.  She was adopted as a pup and returned when her owner passed away.  She is a big girl and she was a bit overweight when returned.  We are working on a diet and because of her previous weight she has some arthritis in her hind legs.March 14, 2026, 4:47 pm

I'm Milo, a handsome 1-year-old black and white Boxer mix with energy for days! 🐕 I'm neutered and ready for an active home where I can get the mental and physical stimulation I need to thrive — I do best with adult-only households and would benefit with having another dog or 2 (however, cats aren't a good fit for me). I'm a possible door dasher and can be mouthy, so I'll need a patient owner who can work with me on training and keep me engaged. I was heartworm positive and went through the treatment. I'll just have to be on prevention for the rest of my life (all dogs should honestly). I struggle when left alone, so a home where someone's around frequently is ideal. My adoption fee is $100 and the kennels are open to the public Thursday and Friday 12 pm - 4 pm, and Saturday 12 pm - 3 pm.

Story
Axel is the sweetest dog we've ever had. He's going on 5 years old. He Is the biggest cuddle bug and loves a good nap, it may be his favorite thing to do. He's very will trained and is very obedient. He's great with kids and is non reactive to virtually anything going on around him. Doesn't bark at the door, new people or anything for that matter. Also does not react to fireworks. Unfortunately I've taken a new job that requires me to travel extensively and I'm just not able to provide the quality of life I once was. He is constantly being boarded or left alone and it's very unfair to such a great pup. I'm not in dire need to re home him, but if the right family comes up that can provide him with a loving life, I will consider it. I'm willing to travel for meet and greets to see if it's the right fit. As I said, I'm not hurting to re-home him. He's a great dog, he just deserves a family that's present. I'm only home 3 days a month now. It's not fair to him.

She is great with children and gets along with other dogs; however, we believe she would thrive best in a calmer home as the only dog or with just one other dog. She would make a wonderful companion for a family, couple, or single person looking for a loyal and loving addition to their home. Mira is very well behaved and listens extremely well. When outside, she stays close to her people and has excellent manners. There are cows near her current foster home, and she completely ignores them. She loves her chew bones, spending time with her people, and simply being part of the family. Mira truly is an amazing dog with so much love to give. She is looking for a home where she can feel comfortable, secure, and loved. If you are looking for a sweet, well-mannered, affectionate companion, Mira may be the perfect fit. Mira is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and currently on preventatives. Our rescue is 100% donation-based through adoption. We do not have set adoption fees; however, we do require a donation at the time of adoption.
