Daisy is a happy, sweet and loving older girl that needs someone to love.  She was adopted as a pup and returned when her owner passed away.  She is a big girl and she was a bit overweight when returned.  We are working on a diet and because of her previous weight she has some arthritis in her hind legs.March 14, 2026, 4:47 pm

"Claressa" is approximately 1.5 years old and came from the Garber shelter with her sister (already adopted). She has become a volunteer favorite and knows how to play her cards for extra treats, walks, and attention. She does great with every dog she has been introduced to and is the dog that will allow the other dogs to run and chase her. She loves playgroups and loves her walks. "Claressa" is a poster child at the adoption events. She's easy to handle, gets along with the other dogs, and is happy to meet and greet anyone who comes to visit.

"Twila" joined the ESPCA on 1/1/26 and to show her gratitude, blessed us with 7 healthy babies the next day. All of her babies have been adopted, and now it's her turn. This little girl is quite the package. She's already unique being a brindle Corgi/Boxer mix, and a silly personality to top it off. "Twila" seems to love everyone she meets and has been good with other dogs during playgroup. This little firecracker definitely has energy and drive like the Corgi and Boxer breeds tend to. She needs an active lifestyle, and family members who can rein her in and teach her proper manners. Kennels really aren't ideal for busy dog minds like her to remember proper behavior when people come around (mostly jumping). She can be vocal, but typically only during a lot of dog/people traffic during the day. She's a good small medium sized girl and could probably adapt to any lifestyle.

Meet this sweet girl! She is a 4-year-old, well-trained dog who is looking for a loving forever home. She is up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm prevention, flea and tick prevention, and has been wonderfully behaved while in foster care. She is incredibly friendly and affectionate and seems happiest just being around her people. She gets along great with other dogs and has fit in beautifully with our four dogs. She is wonderful with children and would do well with a family, a couple, or even a single owner looking for a loyal companion. She listens very well, stays close by when outside, and has excellent manners. While I haven't tested her with cats indoors, we have passed cats on walks. She may bark as if she wants to play, but she does not lunge, chase, or show any aggression toward them. We also have cows near our home, and she completely ignores them. She loves her chew bones, enjoys spending time with her people, and has a calm, loving personality. She truly is an amazing dog who just wants to be loved and be part of a family. If you're looking for a sweet, well-behaved, affectionate companion, she may be the perfect fit! Mira is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on preventatives. Our Rescue is 100% donation based all the way to adoption. We do not have set adoption fees, but we do require a donation to be made at the time of adoption. Donations go towards saving other animals and preparing them for their new lives in their new homes!
