My name is Emma, I am 7 yrs old. I am UTD on shots, spayed and chipped. I have some insecurities and need a patient person who will work with me on these things. I am very loving but can be shy. I dont get along with dogs in the home to feel my best. I luv to cuddle :)

Story
Pitt/Boxer rescue, 4 years old. Been to dog therapy sessions to try and train out his dog-reactive behavior, only partially successful. He still jumps and growls and sometimes barks at any dog within 50 feet of him. He does fine in dog play group at our boarding facility, and does seem to be far less aggressive when multiple dogs are involved. So, one dog, reactive, multiple dogs, not so much. I am a senior and having difficulty controlling his outbursts. Positive treat training is partially effective, but sometimes cannot draw his attention. We had a home with a large yard, so there were no issues and he had plenty of room to run and dig and hunt for critters, which he likes to do. But we now live in an apartment and it appears will for some time, and I'm concerned that we could lose our lease if he jumps toward other dogs. We go for 2-4 mile walks almost daily, plenty of exercise. He's great at home, no messes, no destructive behavior, loves his crate, couch potato.
