Story
Introducing the four-legged champion, Manny the Boxer! This two-year-old male doggo is always up for a good fight, but not the kind you might think-- Manny loves nothing more than playing with his toys, and he'll go round after round trying to catch his tail. We're confident he'll catch it one day! Manny gets along with other animals but is definitely learning manners and social cues when it comes to playing and interest with other animals. Manny knows sit and is potty trained! Most of our dogs are currently in shelter - but adoptions/meet and greets are by appointment only. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $275+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.

Story
Need a forever friend? I do! I came to HHS after my owner moved and could not take me! I'm a super sweet boy who likes routine. I've never met a person or dog I did not like and I am tolerant of those felines most people seem to like. I am housetrained and prefer the couch over the sunshine. I have pretty great recall once we are friends and aim to please. I will kennel for you too, but probably don't need. I know basic commands and am friendly with all ages. Do I sound like a total package? It's because I'm pretty great! I’m sponsored too, so my adoption fee is only $115!

Story
Meet Cookie - Your Sweet and Playful Boxer Companion!Woof! Hello there! My name is Cookie, and I'm a loving 5-year-old white Boxer looking for my forever home. Life hasn't always been easy for me, but I'm ready to embark on a new chapter with a family that will cherish me as much as I will cherish them.Let me tell you a bit about my journey so far. I arrived at the shelter with my adorable puppies, and I couldn't have been prouder of them when they all found loving homes. Now, it's my turn to find that special place where I can experience love and warmth every day.One thing you should know about me is that I'm incredibly friendly. I get along splendidly with kids, so if you have a little human running around, that's great! I'm gentle and patient, and I love to play games that involve running and fetching. I'll be the perfect playmate and loyal companion for your children.Guess what else? I'm also pretty cool with cats! Yup, you heard it right. Cats and I can be good friends too. I'm not the type to chase or bark at them. Instead, I'll be curious and maybe even try to make friends with them. Now, here's a small secret: While I adore people and cats, I'm not a huge fan of other dogs. It's not that I'm mean or aggressive, I just prefer to have all the attention and love to myself. I promise to shower you with so much love that you won't even miss having other furry friends. My ideal day would include a mix of playtime, cuddles, and a nice walk. Speaking of walks, I'm pretty good on the leash. I might pull a little in my excitement, but with some patient training, I'll become a pro at walking by your side.Oh, did I mention I'm a quick learner? Yep, I am! With some yummy treats and positive reinforcement, I'm ready to impress you with all the cool tricks I can learn. In my new home, I dream of having a cozy spot near you where I can relax and feel safe. If you let me, I'd love to be a part of your family activities, whether it's lounging on the couch or playing in the yard. So, are you the one who'll make my dreams come true? I promise to be your most loyal and loving companion, filling your life with joy and excitement. If you think we could be the perfect match, please come meet me at the shelter. I'll be waiting with my tail wagging and my heart open, ready to be loved and cherished by my forever family.Lots of tail wags and slobbery kisses,Cookie ??.
