Meet Major Worthington, a five-year-old Boxer mix who’s easy to live with and easy to love. Major already knows sit, shake, and lay down, and he’s 100% house trained. He does pretty well on a leash, especially once he’s had a little time to burn off some energy. Major slept in his crate voluntarily and settles well at home. He enjoys playing and gets the zoomies with another dog, but he’s otherwise a calm, quiet companion. He may bark when strangers come to the house, but beyond that he’s not much of a talker. At the end of the day, Major is all about comfort. He loves to snuggle and has a special fondness for pillows.

Adri is 5 years old in December. She’s very loving and loves kisses and attention. She loves car rides and pup cups and lots of cuddles. Shes crate trained if need be and also house trained. She does great with kids and fine with adults if she’s introduced with owner around as the new person being a friend and that they are ok. She has to be reassured. She’s very protective over her owner. Once she’s imprinted she will follow you anywhere you go. Not sure about being around other dogs. I had 3 including her at one point. In which the pit bull I got when he was 5 weeks old adri was 3. They did good together at first loved eachother and played all the time. Then she wanted nothing to do with him and became aggressive towards him. Also had my older male boxer as well but then 2 have always got along with no problems. I found the pitbull a home because it wasn’t fair to him that he was constantly defending his self everyday. A fenced yard would be amazing for her so she can run around

He is food motivated and an enthusiastic student when training. He rides comfortably in a car, is house trained, crate trained and leash trained. He has been surrounded by a loving foster family but his public exposure has been limited. Obedience classes would be great once he's comfortable in a new environment. Bulma is a 3 year old, 70 lb American Bulldog. She is a super happy, very friendly dog. Her friendliness, however, doesn’t necessarily extend to other dogs. She can be a bit of a bully when she thinks she can get away with it. Bulma was raised outside with her brother (who was recently adopted). They had food, water, shelter and love from their human, but they were never allowed to live inside. When their mom became too ill to continue to care for them, she, regrettably, surrendered them to rescue. Bulma is affectionate and energetic. Her foster recommends she be placed in a home where she can be an only dog and get plenty of exercise. Her original human reported that she also had a cat that frequently spent time behind the fence with the dogs, but this hasn’t been tested and verified since entering rescue. Bulma hasn’t been tested with children but we have no reason to think she would be anything other than her sweet, friendly self. She might be a little much for very small children, since she is not bashful about showing love (just like every other Bulldog we’ve ever met). She needs some training to learn her doggy manners and she is very eager to please. She will be tons of fun, laughs, and kisses on day one! They call me Exuberant, Handsome and Sweet but you can choose a new name for me when we adopt each other. I don’t care what you call me, as long as you call me. I’m a happy dog who loves people more than anything else in the world. I’m a 6 year old mix, with a 22” collar and am very big and strong. The Vet said I weigh 73 pounds. Don’t let that scare you because I am just a mushy ball of love. I like to let everyone know how happy I am to see them by twirling around and wagging my tail as fast as it will go. This is usually when they call me Exuberant. I like to have fun. I’m such a good boy and I have good potty manners. I prefer being inside with people at night especially. Since I have a lot of energy and need exercise, your large fenced yard will be well-used. My foster peeps say I need a family, not a job. They know that I’m a quick learner and will be someone’s best dog ever. Because I’m big and young at heart, my new humans should have some experience with dogs and be able to work with someone of my stature. I promise I will try to do everything you ask enthusiastically. I don’t like loud booming noises (fireworks or dynamite) or gunfire but neither do most of my friends. Health wise, I am terrific; up to date on shots and tested negative for heartworms.
