Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Meet Bear!   Bear is a sweet little boy with a HUGE personality.  He is playful and very energetic.  He aleady walks well on the leash and is about 90% potty trained.  All dogs at the center are taken out every 3 hours or so and he does well without accidents it is the overnight which is 8-9 hours which he cannot make it.   Bear is spunky and enjoys playing catch me if you can. LOL  He likes kids and other dogs so he would do great in any home.  He is a bit bossy with other dogs so the resident dog will need to be a confident dog to give stern directions to this little guy. His mom was a dachshund hound mix and we believe that the father was a spaniel mix or maybe a miniature doodle.  Whatever his mix we can guarantee he is 100% dog.  We don't think he will be larger than 30lbs.   Important Information for New Puppy Parents   Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities. To help your puppy grow into a happy, confident, and well-adjusted adult dog, dedication to obedience training, socialization, and consistent potty training is essential. We strongly recommend that the entire family participates in puppy training classes. This not only helps build a strong bond with your new pup but also ensures that everyone is using the same commands and techniques, creating a clear and consistent environment for learning. **Puppies thrive with structure, patience, and positive reinforcement—and so do their families! Let’s set them up for a lifetime of love and success   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 22, 2026, 5:43 pm

Story
Meet Your New Best Friend! Jayce is a 3-year-old Brittnay Mix who is looking for his forever home. While he might be a little shy when you first meet him, give him a moment to come out of his shell, and you'll find a funny, bouncy, and deeply loving companion. Jayce is a "paws-on" kind of dog! He is famous for his hugs and will spend his time trying to wrap his paws around you if he isn't already trying to curl up in your lap. He is the perfect blend of a lounge partner and a playmate. Because of his cautious temperament, Jayce has some specific needs to help him feel safe and successful: No Other Dogs: He prefers being the "only child" and can be reactive toward strange dogs. Quiet Environment: He would not enjoy the high-stress environment of a dog park. Patient Humans: He needs an owner who understands he needs to approach new things at his own pace. No Strangers (at first): He can be vocal with people he doesn't know, but his loyalty to his inner circle is unmatched. If you have the patience to let him blossom, you will be rewarded with a level of love and loyalty that only a dog like Jayce can give. He is ready to be your most devoted friend. Jayce's adoption fee is $325 to offset the cost of vetting and help other rescues in need. He is currently located in Georgia and can be transported up to 1400 miles via our Canine Railroad.
