Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Annie is a gorgeous little cocker spaniel in search of her forever family. Unfortunately, she has pretty significant vision and hearing impairments due to birth defects. However, she does not allow these impairments to hold her back - she is a very happy girl and loves nothing more than to snuggle up on the couch with her foster humans. Annie is working hard on her house and crate training and is making good progress. She adores the other dogs in her foster home.   ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: Physically fenced in yard to keep her safe - no invisible fences. Open concept home with minimal stairs would be ideal for Annie. A confident resident dog to help guide Annie would be best. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped. Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly. November 12, 2025, 9:37 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Nugget is a handsome Cocker Spaniel in search of his forever family. He has recently discovered the joy of playing with squeaky toys :) Unfortunately, Nugget's dental disease was so severe that his remaining teeth had to be extracted during his dental. He is so much better without them and will finally be pain free once his mouth heals up completely.   ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: Physically fenced in yard to keep him safe - no invisible fences. Nugget enjoys the other dogs in his foster home and would love to go to a home with a resident dog, but it is not required.
