Story
Hi, my name is Syrup. I’m just as sweet as the syrup you put on waffles (except my brother Waffle), but I’m also a bit shy. Loud noises and quick movements make me nervous, and I need a little extra time to warm up. Having two toddler-like, rambunctious brothers means I’ve learned patience, but don’t worry, I definitely know how to play. I love cardboard pieces and cat springs, and if you leave a bag of litter or cat food out, I’ll tackle it like a pro football player. One of my favorite comforts is being tucked inside a sweatshirt with my head poking out, it helps me feel safe while I get used to new people. I would do best in a calm home without small children. A household with middle-school-aged kids or older, people who can respect my boundaries, would be ideal. My littermates are Biscuit and Waffle. Expected take home date: 2/25/26 All cats with A HOPE are litter box trained, microchipped, vaccinated up to date, dewormed, fixed, and tested for feline leukemia before adoption. More information on our adoption process, fees, and about the individual animal can be found on our website. Emails can be sent to ahopeadoptions@gmail.com.

Story
My daughter adopted the cat from a shelter while she was here visiting and gave the cat to my son. The cat was quite young at the time. Neither of us are home very often and we travel quite a bit. We both have had allergies from the cat and I cannot function well with constant allergies.
