Story
Shaydo is generally a sweetheart and in the experience i've had with him, he loves to rub against you. I got him from a coworker's sister who passed and he had been left in the house alone. He's generally very sweet. The coworker told me he would pick him up in a few weeks, but ended up moving away himself and left me with the cat. While I love this cat, I am moving myself and cannot bring him with me. I know he is not neutered and has very rough skin, furless spots, and a flea problem, but aside from that, does not seem unwell or abnormal. He sleeps a lot like a normal cat and when you open a can of wet food, he goes crazy like a normal cat. He isn't usually aggresive when meeting new people, the kids at my current home met him and after a bit of shyness, he melted into them. He has only hissed when I saw him hiding, which makes me think he was frightened by me or someone suddenly, but other than that, he's been really sweet.

🖤 Meet Mottie – A Tiny Soul with a Big, Brave Heart 🐾In a world that doesn’t always slow down, Mottie is a gentle reminder to pause, look closer, and fall in love with the quiet magic. This sleek little gentleman, wrapped in midnight fur and glowing amber eyes, carries both wonder and resilience in every soft step he takes.Mottie is FeLV+, but that diagnosis doesn’t define him—it simply makes him extra special. He is affectionate, sweet-natured, and endlessly curious. He greets the world with wide eyes and an open heart, ready to explore every toy, every shadow, every new adventure life places in front of him. When playtime winds down, he’s just as happy curling up for cuddles, purring his way into your soul. He’s the kind of kitten who feels like a love letter in fur—gentle, hopeful, and full of quiet joy.Mottie would thrive in a home where he can be cherished for exactly who he is—either as your one-and-only or with other FeLV+ friends. At an adopter’s discretion, Mottie may also live with non-FeLV cats who are up to date on vaccinations. We always encourage adopters to speak with their veterinarian about what setup is best for their home and current pets.Mottie isn’t looking for perfection. He’s looking for his person.Someone who sees not a diagnosis, but a beautiful little life ready to be loved. And once you meet him, you’ll understand—Mottie isn’t just a kitten. He’s a heart waiting to come home. 🖤✨

Story
He's a wonderful cat. He's great with kids and dogs. He's extremely sweet and caring, but shy. Unfortunately he is left at home all day for most of the day and this saddens us. Comes with free $250 automatic cat litter box and food/litter as well.
