Benny is a 8-month-old tuxedo boy with a gentle heart who just needs the right person to help him continue building confidence. He came into my care as a kitten about four months ago, and while he’s still very shy and easily startled, he has made amazing progress. Benny loves curling up in my lap for pets while I’m sitting in my office chair or relaxing on the floor, and once he feels safe, he becomes very affectionate and playful. He is highly food motivated, enjoys toys and interactive play, is neutered, and fully litter box trained. Benny is not aggressive at all, but he is still learning to trust people. He currently tolerates being held and is not yet comfortable with carriers or large unfamiliar spaces, as he has only lived in one quiet bedroom environment so far. He loves other cats and would do best in a house with feline friends. Benny would do best with an experienced, patient adopter who understands shy cats and allows him to adjust at his pace.
