Story
Meet Peppercorn, This little nugget was clearly loved in his former home, but somehow he found himself lost and searching for safety. Thankfully, those days are behind him, and now he’s ready to find a family to call his own again. He is one of the easiest dogs you’ll ever meet—lovable, gentle, and happy to be by your side. He’s house-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and enjoys accompanying his people wherever they go. Car rides are one of his favorite things, especially if he can claim the front seat and watch the world go by. One thing he would like you to know: crates are not his favorite. He much prefers being close to his people and will let you know he’s unhappy if confined. After all, he’d rather be spending time with you than sitting behind a crate door. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who is ready to settle into family life from day one, this sweet boy may be exactly who you’ve been searching for. ❤️🐾 He/she is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Please fill out an application at www.northboundrescue.com

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.6/7/26 Penny is still available. Her owners are wanting her gone due to having a baby and no time for Penny Please share!! We believe she is a Brittany Spaniel mix. • 3 years old • Approximately 45 lbs• Good with children• Does well with cats• Gets along with most dogs• Active, energetic breed mix that needs regular exercise and room to run• House trained, leash trained, and crate trained A fenced yard would be ideal for her, but leash walks might do as long as her adopter is committed to walk/run her enough to get her energy out. Shes a good girl that just needs the right family to love her. She is spayed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Penny is located in Arkansas. She can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays. To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. Good with dogs,
Story
Meet Sarah, a young adult (approx. 9 months old) spayed female Brittany Spaniel/Beagle mix, weighing about 31 lbs!  Sarah arrived in CT on 5/30 and is settling in well at her foster's home. We are accepting applications on her now! Sarah is a little timid with new people so she can do a 1 week foster to adopt trial with an approved adopter so you can see how she settles in before committing to adoption. Her foster said, "Sarah is a love and a little shy initially but then loves to be with her people! She is progressing great as far as potty training & crate training go. No accidents for a couple days now! She’s been such a good girl. She’s getting a little braver now started out between my legs as I walked outside, but she’s very chill with all the dogs now. Is timid with first intro but gets over it quite quickly." Sarah is medically up to date, crate trained and currently progressing well with house training. Apply to meet this special pup today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2739681##
