Story
We got Jager at four months old in June 2022 from the Escambia County animal shelter. He’s a very loving, fun dog. We have enjoyed him immensely and it is a hard but necessary decision to rehome him. He has been with us through having babies and kittens. He has never attacked a person inside or outside our home. He has been a good family pet. We did a DNA test which are in the pictures. From what I am told, he is a hunting dog hybrid of sorts. He is perfectly fine with anything or anybody in the home, but has proven to be a “runner” and has reduced the neighborhood’s possum and chicken population. We have not had him around other dogs bc he acts aggressive when we are on walks. We are not inherently good with dogs, like some people are born to be, and Jager needs more discipline than we are capable of doing. We have a lot of significant life changes and this is a very hard decision for our family but I am praying we find the perfect home for him.
