Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Amber is a petite 35âlb sweetheart with the athletic ability of a much bigger dog. She once proved she could clear a 6âfoot fence in pursuit of her very serious squirrelâwatching duties — not to escape, but because she’s convinced she’s faster than gravity. For her safety, Amber needs to stay onâleash outdoors, and she does beautifully with normal leash routines. Inside the home, Amber is a loving, very, very smart, affectionate cuddle buddy. She sleeps in bed with her foster mom every night and barely takes up any space. She’s gentle, devoted, and happiest when she’s snuggled close. Amber is also what we call a bonaâfide kid lover. When she sees children on her walks, she lights up with excitement and joy. Her whole body wiggles, her tail goes into helicopter mode, and she wants nothing more than to greet them. She would thrive in a family with kids who enjoy a sweet, silly, affectionate companion. She’s also known for her adorable shoeâcollecting hobby — she gathers them from the closet but has never chewed a single one. It’s just part of her charm. Amber is a wonderful mix of cuddly, funny, athletic, and loving. She’s ready for a family who will keep her safe onâleash outdoors and give her all the affection she adores. We accept Venmo, Zelle, PayPal & Credit Cards for the adoption fee. About LNF Dogs/Puppies: All dogs and puppies have undergone temperament testing. They live in foster homes. They are housebroken (puppies are paper-trained) and crate trained. They have been microchipped for identification purposes. They have been tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, and Lyme disease. Each dog is on year-round Heartworm medication while in the rescue's care. They are up-to-date with Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper, Parvo, and Leptospirosis vaccines. They have been de-wormed. Adoption Fee: The adoption fee includes 30 days of FREE pet insurance, with an option to purchase additional coverage. The rescue strives to provide the best medical care to ensure the health of the dogs, including spaying or neutering. Adoption Requirements: A minimum physical fence of 4 feet in height is mandatory and must be installed. Some dogs may require a 6-foot wood or vinyl fence, as noted in their profiles. Electric fences are not accepted under any circumstances. These requirements and procedures are in place to ensure the safety and well-being of the adopted dogs and to provide potential adopters with healthy and well-cared-for pets. It's important for anyone interested in adopting from this rescue organization to meet these criteria and provide a suitable and safe environment for the dogs.
