Story
Penny is a 19 month old Brittany/Hound mix. She is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, Heartworm negative and on preventative.  She minds her foster mom really well and has great recall. Penny knows the command sit and is working on stay. She is not very vocal and does not bark much. She loves running in the yard and is good with other dogs. Penny loves her toys and she also loves treats. Penny is a very healthy girl. Penny's foster mom says she is not destructive and loves to lounge in her dog bed. Because she gets overly excited, Penny jumps on people, but her foster mom is working with her.  Because of her jumping, Penny will not be a good fit for a home with small children.  Penny is being fostered in Tennessee. Her adoption fee is $325.00 and can be transported up to 1400 miles via our Canine Railroad with the adopter taking the last leg, usually less than 100 miles.  Applications for Penny can be found on www.nbran.org.  For more information, email dltuthill@epbfi.com or ztasuzanne@gmail.com.  March 27, 2024, 11:36 am

Story
Introducing Sadie!  Sadie is a cuddle bug that is just about 9 years old.  She's a beautiful liver and white female brittany, weighing about 37 pounds. Sadie loves the freedom to run without a leash and run the fence perimeter.  She would love to chase rabbits and squirrels.  She walks fairly well on a lead or harness, but is still a big puller.   A physical fenced yard is a must for her, as she needs space to run.   She is very loyal and watches over her person.  She loves chew toys.  She is ok with other dogs as long as they don’t rush to her face.  Sadie would do best as an only dog.  Sadie is housebroken and low maintenance. She prefers to stay home, with a comfy dog bed. She likes to be petted and have space to run off her energy.  Sadie is heartworm negative, spayed, in good health and up to date on all vaccines. She is microchipped, her hearing and sight are very good.  She does have dry itchy skin and has been on Apoquel for six months.  She walks into the shower for her bath and gives you about 15 minutes to towel dry her. If you are looking for a great family pet that likes to travel in the car, golf cart  or patrol the perimeter of the fenced yard / property she is your girl.  She will keep the bunnies and squirrels from eating your flowers and shrubs on your fenced property.  She will need a four-to-five-foot fence.  Sadie loves being outside with her people but enjoys the comfort of dog beds and bed pillows to grab a nap in between bird watching out the window and running outside. Please consider opening your heart and home to Sadie!  Sadie's adoption fee is $350.  Please complete an adoption application at www.nbran.org and specify her name.  She is currently located in northwestern Georgia  and is available to be transported up to 1400 miles, with the adopter driving the last 100 miles approximately.   If you are interested in giving Sadie her forever home, please reach out to Leslie Trenta @ leslie@leslietrentadesigns.com     March 27, 2024, 11:36 am

Story
Hi everyone! I'm Lager and I'm on a search for my forever family.  Let me tell you bit about myself. I just turned 1 in February so I'm still a bit of a baby.  Foster mum says I am awesome! I am house trained and crate trained but we've been testing me loose in the house and I've been an angel and haven't gotten into any trouble.  I just snooze or look out the window. I'm pretty active and love to run...and run...and run, so a large fenced yard would be great for me. I am not so good on a leash but we are working on it and foster mum and dad take me out 3 times a day to practice. The problem is that I go crazy when I see a bird or a squirrel (hey, I AM a Brittany after all) and I pull. Another younger dog in the house for me to play with would be fantastic. Or someone who can get me out and about a lot during the day. I am good with all people (kids/babies included) and dogs. I've never been around a cat but given my desire to go after little critters, we're going with the safe answer of 'no cats' for me. I also do like to bark at stuff out the window (so much exciting stuff out there) but I'm getting better when told to stop. In fact foster mum says I am easy to train! Once I get to know you, I am very affectionate and enjoy giving lots of kisses and cuddles. Foster mum calls me a Velcro dog because I have to be where my people are and I love to sleep in your bed. I'll be your side-kick.  Oh and some boring stuff about me. I'm neutered, up to date on my vaccines, and microchipped. So, if you think you have the time, and energy to be my forever peeps, please submit an application online and I'll have my people contact your people!   The adoption fee for ON/Lager who is currently being fostered in Stoney Creek, ON (Canada) is $400.00 US.  If you are interested in making Lager a part of your family, please submit an application on-line. https://www.nbran.org/adopt/adoption-application A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your provincial/state coordinator before talking with Lager's foster family. Transportation can be arranged up to 2200 kms (1400 miles) with the adopter bein responsible for at least the last 160 kms (100 miles) For more information contact sandratoal18@gmail.comMarch 27, 2024, 11:36 am
