With her wrinkly face, wiggly bum, and loving eyes, she’ll melt your heart in no time. She adores people, never turns down belly rubs, and loves cuddling on the couch. Sassy does best with larger male dogs but isn’t a match for cats, female dogs, or kids under 10. She’d thrive in a home with a fenced yard, regular playtime, and an owner who can continue her training. She already knows her basics and is eager to learn more! Please make sure to read the narrative below our pet's photos as you will find a description of our pet with all we know about them, our adoption fee info, and you will find the link to do our online Adoption Application which is the first step in our Adoption Process!     Please read ALL below where you will find answers about the pet, our adoption fees and how to do our adoption application!   Pet Description:  Ruthie is a female mix, looks like a possible Boxer/Lab mix, five-months old as of early-Oct.  Found as a stray pup and brought to us.  She is super sweet and loving, great with other dogs.   DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more.  (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).   The first step is to our Adoption Application here:  https://elmorehumane.org/adoption-application-online-form2.html .   IMPORTANT – we respond to your emailed applications and queries via email back to you.  Please make sure you have either added our email  (hselco@bellsouth.net)  to your contact list or that you routinely check your SPAM folder for our response just to be safe.
