Now that she’s safe, Lila is soaking up every bit of kindness that comes her way. She adores soft beds, belly rubs, and being told she’s a good girl because she truly is. Her favorite moments are the quiet ones, just being near the people who love her. She’s learning that the world can be gentle, and she’s blossoming more each day. Lila doesn’t need much, just a calm, loving home where she can rest, heal, and be treated like the treasured companion she’s always deserved to be. After everything she’s endured, she’s ready for the simple joys: cozy naps, short strolls, and endless affection. If you’ve ever wanted to make a difference in a dog’s life, Lila is the one. Darlene was surrendered back to HSNB after her adopter passed away and their children didn't have time to care for her. This sweet girl is very ready to find her forever home. Not only is Darlene incredibly friendly and sweet, but she's house-trained and also has some impressive house manners! Darlene is very dog-selective and would do best as the only dog that steals your heart and your couch. If you're looking for a new furry friend who will bring endless joy and love into your life, look no further than Darlene! She's playful, she loves to go on walks and she's a joy on-leash. She even adores car rides and adventures. Darlene's pretty much happy doing whatever her people are doing. She's currently in foster with a family who has 2 young girls and their favorite thing to do with Darlene is play dress-up! This is Milo! He is finally 1 years old! I adopted Milo when he was 10 months & he’s been such a character since day one. He’s super goofy with a big personality.. Loves walks or just being a couch potato with you. He’s super smart & learns very quickly. He can sit, lay down, speak, whisper, shake, & coming from behind sitting in between your legs for “safety”. He’s house trained & loves to play catch with his toys (he actually gets into a certain position to “get ready” before you throw it) he’s the greatest & i don’t doubt that we’re soulmates. Unfortunately I am in the process of getting another job as well as going back to school.. it was an opportunity i couldn’t pass up. Milo deserves someone who can give him all their love & attention. He’ll thrive best with someone who can keep up with his energy, continue his training, and give him all the love he gives right back.

Meet Duke, our sweet, silly and gentle one-year-old BoxerMastiff mix. He truly doesn't have a mean bone in his body; he adores people, kids, and even cats! Duke is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. He walks best with a Halti, he’s still learning not to pull and can be a bit reactive on leash, so an experienced handler is preferred. Duke would thrive in a home with a large yard or open space to roam, as he’s definitely not suited for apartment living. His only real bad habit is that he sometimes shreds his dog bed if he has extra energy, but with enough playtime and attention, he’s the most loving and loyal companion you could ask for. He’s a velcro dog! Unfortunately, my work schedule has recently changed, and I no longer have the time that Duke truly deserves so I’m hoping to find him a home where he can get the love, exercise, and space he needs. He has not been neutered yet because he’s a large breed and still growing.
