Story
Baxter is one of the most AMAZING guys I have come in contact with. I ended up fostering him as he was given over by a homeless man. He was sadly very thin and homeless for sometime. He has either bulldog in him as he snorts! He is utterly gentle, sooooo loving (wants to lay down with you all day if possible!) and great social skills. I fostered him to get him into a secure home, got him neutered, chipped and rabies shot. I have another dog and cat here so I can not keep him long term. My other dog is a special needs guy so Baxter lives in one part of the house. Baxter is young (about 1 year) and needs a loving home where he can BE in the household with his people. That's all he wants!!! He truly is contagious as a sign of HAPPINESS !!!

Story
This beautiful lady is Darlene. She's a black and white Bull Terrier mix. Darlene was surrendered back to HSNB after her adopter passed away and their children didn't have time to care for her. This sweet girl is very ready to find her forever home. Not only is Darlene incredibly friendly and sweet, but she's house-trained and also has some impressive house manners! Darlene is good with most other dogs but she does prefer to be the only dog that steals your heart and your couch. If you're looking for a new furry friend who will bring endless joy and love into your life, look no further than Darlene! She's playful, she loves to go on walks and she's a joy on-leash. She even adores car rides and adventures. Darlene's pretty much happy doing whatever her people are doing. She's currently in foster with a family who has 2 young girls and their favorite thing to do with Darlene is play dress-up! Come meet her and see for yourself what an amazing addition she would be to your family. Her $150 adoption fee means she comes to you spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Head over to https://www.hsnb.org/dog-adoption-application/ and fill out an adoption application for this sweet special girl. Maxine is a beautiful english bulldog mix with a lot of happy energy! She is very much a "people dog", and does great with children too. Maxine would be best as an only dog. Maxine is potty trained, kennel trained, and knows basic commands like sit, down, wait for food. Would be best with kids 10+ due to her hyper personality. Maxine is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. If interested in meeting her, please complete an application at jellysplace.org.
