Mars is very affectionate love to give lots of kisses and very loyal! With Consistency she is easily trainable. Her training has been interrupted by a major transition and my chaotic schedule! She loves to snuggle and super sweet, very energetic, super strong and intelligent, still has young behaviors, but eager to submit🥰 we do have a cat took her a while to adjust, but she eventually learned how to function around the cat hasn’t had much consistency around other dogs outside of kennel to examine. We are temporarily in someone else’s home who does not allow pets so we have her currently in a cage outside eagerly looking for a safe place for her to continue ASAP!

He is still learning to play gently and is high energy so no small kids or small animals. He has ignored the resident kitties. Quinn has been in a shelter environment for over a year so it is unknown how much housetraining he needs. He has done well keeping his kennel clean. Lets find him him forever loving home!

Barley`s Compatibility:Dogs - Meet and greetCats - Looking for a feline-free homeKids - 14 and upBarley came to HSHC from another shelter, and he`s been waiting a long time for the right people to walk through the door. Ask the staffer who`s known him for over two years and she`ll tell you he`s one of the sweetest, most loving dogs she`s ever met. On her lunch breaks, she lays a blanket out and Barley stretches out beside her while she reads. She calls it their picnic time. That`s who he is once he`s comfy with you. He just wants to lean against your leg or lie right next to you. Bring some treats into it and his goofy, toy-loving side comes right out to play.He does best with kids 14 and up, where everyone can read his cues and give him room when he needs it. A calm meet and greet will show us how he does with other dogs, and he`s hoping for a home without cats.Barley has been through so much, and waited far too long for something that should have been his ages ago. He`s ready to know what family feels like. Come meet him at the shelter and let him show you why the people who know him can`t stop rooting for him.

❤️‍🩹Beaux started out at the shelter an extremely timid dog that wouldn’t even allow people to touch him. Since then, he’s come leaps and bounds! Here’s an update from his foster mom: 🛋️Beaux has definitely discovered his love of all things soft and cozy! 🏠He’s doing great in the house and hasn’t had a single accident. He hasn’t been destructive or chewed things up, although he’s still learning that not everything he finds belongs to him—socks and T-shirts are apparently fair game for playtime! 😂🧦 He’s learning to go into his kennel when asked and is making progress with “leave it.” When I leave the house, Beaux stays in his kennel and seems to do well. I haven’t seen signs of him being destructive while kenneled. 💙He can still be hesitant about affection initially and sometimes needs a little encouragement, but once he’s comfortable, he ✨LOVES✨ pets—and has become pretty demanding about getting them! 🤡His goofy side is really starting to come out, too. When I get home from work and he gets outside in the yard, he bounces around and gets incredibly playful. 🎾It’s been really fun watching more and more of his personality come out. 🐕 Beaux seems to gain confidence from having other dogs around and appears to open up more with them. He’s still learning how to navigate dog interactions, especially when play gets loud or exciting. That can overwhelm him and cause him to jump in and get a little snippy. He would do best with an understanding dog companion and people willing to help him continue learning appropriate interactions. 🚙 One thing Beaux has not discovered a love for yet is the car. 😂 Car rides are still a pretty big hurdle for him, and he’ll need someone patient and willing to help him work through that at his own pace. Beaux has come a long way already. Underneath that initially unsure pup is a goofy, affectionate little guy who is learning more every day that being a dog can actually be pretty fun. ♥️ 🏡 http://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TIP-A-548
