Story
Currently located in: TN, traveling north soon! Adoptable in: Transport is available anywhere! Good with dogs: Yes! As always, slow introductions are needed. Good with cats: Unknown! Good with kids: Yes, adult supervision is always required. House trained: Yes! He will just need time to adjust to your routine. Crate trained: Yes! Meet Jayden! Jayden is an approximately 70 pound totally adorable bulldog terrier mix and between 1-2 years old! He was saved from a high kill shelter in GA pretty much moments before he was scheduled to be euthanized for space. While we will never know how or why he ended up at the shelter, we do know that no one came to claim him and he was out of time. This "lap dog" is pretty much amazing. He is super sweet and a big ole ham! Jayden does well in his crate, but would much prefer being in your lap! He is friendly with other dogs, but will need a slow introduction after proper decompression which we always help to walk our adopters through. We are not sure if he knows what cats are at this time. Jayden is up for adventures with you or hanging out at home and watching TV. He know knows what a couch and bed are so he's really up for snuggling up and hanging out! He does get excited around other dogs so as mentioned before, he will just need slow and proper introductions when meeting doggie friends! If you think you are the right match for him, please apply to adopt here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScq8ShXPVGLfrGHlIYMk0plgI_PJxOEMdr8QItpQMXYCnluvg/viewform The adoption fee is $550. All of our animals are fully vetted before going to their furever homes. They are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed, up to date on flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention, and microchipped! Please Note: All animals are posted until they are officially adopted. This animal may have other interested adopters in line. We are very quick to respond and process applications! You will be required to provide 2 non family personal references, a home video tour and a vet reference if you’ve previously had animals. Please feel free to send video to our email or facebook upon submitting an application, this lets us know you are serious and ready but also helps us to get you approved quickly. We will text and or call upon receiving your application to schedule a phone interview. You must be an approved adopter in order to go on meet and greets. This saves everyone’s time- especially our gracious foster families! This also allows for you to take the animals home from the meet and greet if you so choose. Interested in fostering? We would love to have you join our family! Fill out the same application above- we have our fosters go through the same process as adopters! Questions? Please email whiskersfunds@gmail.com or message us on facebook!
