Meet Kratos, a gentle, goofy senior boy with a heart as big as his paws. At 11 years old, he’s looking for a loving, peaceful home where he can enjoy his golden years in comfort.Kratos loves simple joys: carrying around his favorite orange Chuck It ball, playing tug-of-war, relaxing on beach days, enjoying tasty treats, and settling in for cozy naps. He’s hard of hearing and takes joint supplements to help manage his arthritis. He also gets occasional ear infections, but a quick round of antibiotics usually has him feeling better in no time.Despite his size, Kratos is a total softie who thrives on affection and a calm, steady environment. He’s perfect for someone looking for a loyal, mellow companion who still has a playful spark.Kratos was recently staying in a foster home where he did wonderfully, and he is now back at the shelter and ready to be seen. If you'd like to give this sweet senior the loving retirement he deserves, please fill stop by to meet him, or call our Front Office staff for more information!Requirements: Martingale Collar; Joint Supplements; Children 12yrs+All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Story
Rip is a 1-year-old male Bullmastiff with the biggest heart. He loves a good game of fetch, lives for snuggles, and just wants to be close to his people. His previous family could no longer manage him and planned to take him to the pound, something I simply could not allow. Rip deserves so much more, and I promised him I’d help find it. Rip is currently enrolled in obedience training and is scheduled to be neutered and microchipped at the end of the month; the rehoming fee requested will be used for those medical procedures. He is well-mannered, crate trained, and knows his basic commands: sit, down, stay, and he walks nicely on a leash (especially when treats are involved). Rip would thrive best as the only pet in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself. He is loyal, affectionate, and deeply bonded to his people; the kind of dog who wants to be part of everything you do. He does require large amounts of exercise; a fenced backyard is a must.
