Story
Hercules is looking for someone to be their hero.  This 3 year old 170 pound Bull Mastiff is massive and definitely the size of a small pony.  He is a lazy, affectionate big OOF that needs someone bigger and stronger than him to make him their sidekick in life.  Being the only dog would be so good for him since the former owner never socialized him with other dogs.  He assumed that Hercules might be a little aggressive or assertive and so we just don’t know for sure.   Maybe a female dog would be fine but we doubt a male would be a good idea in the future home.  He is not great on a leash.  Noone took that time to really train him but it still is doable with the right person knowing how to do it.  He is housebroken, crate trained and he is not destructive in the house.  This boy will make you laugh, make you want to protect him (even though he is big) and he will love you unconditionally and who in the world would ever break in to your home!?  Goodness they would be insane.   This boy loves people though….but if you don’t know him then he could be a nice guardian.   A fenced yard would be the perfect environment for everyone.  If you qualify, then please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 18, 2024, 10:19 pm

Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: Yes Good with kids: YesCrate trained: Working on it House Trained: Mostly Raisin is a happy go lucky pup who is looking for a loving family to call her own. She is a medium energy girl who loves to play just as much as she loves to nap. Raisin absolutely loves everyone she meets and has never met a stranger. She is a friendly girl who adores her humans. With her calm and gentle disposition she has done wonderful with children and enjoys playing with them. Raisin is currently fostered in a home with another dog and cats. She ignores her feline friends and happily plays with her canine foster sister. Raisin enjoys meeting her new canine friends on pack walks before having a playdate as she can be a bit shy at first. Raisin has truly blossomed in her foster home, her favorite part of the day is her morning walks on the beach (especially when she gets to swim in the ocean)!Raisin is eager to please and very food motivated. She has mastered “sit” and “leave it”, and is currently working on paw. She is mostly house trained and may have an accident or two per week. With time, patience and routine she will quickly master it. Raisin is working hard on her crate training, she may whine for a few minutes before settling and does best when she gets a frozen treat to distract her while her foster family isn’t home. Raisin is looking for a family ready to welcome a puppy and continue working on some basic puppy manners. Is Raisin your beach bud for life? Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. If you cannot find a particular dog on our website, he/she may be on a temporary foster hold. All dogs are otherwise posted until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application.July 19, 2024, 2:02 am
