You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.**VALA'S ADOPTION FEE IS ENTIRELY SPONSORED - APPROVED ADOPTERS WILL PAY NOTHING TO GET THIS BEAUTIFUL GIRL** Pretty girl Vala came to us because her pyrents just can't keep she and her sister home... They normally don't go far but there is a neighbor who has threatened to shoot them - so they came to us to save them by finding them a new home. Owners say about Vala: She is a sweetheart and a love - cuddly and obedient. Vala is half Anatolian and half Great Pyr. They were purchased to patrol a small orchard and keep deer and bears away, which they did. Whoever adopts these two - and our first choice is to adopt them together if at all possible - will have dogs that will definitely protect them from deer and bears. We think they would do best on a very large property - their owner's property was three fenced acres and it was too tempting for them to go walkabout if they got bored. Feel free to ask questions and/or to come visit them at Old Farm Kennels in Florence, MT. You should call ahead to arrange a time for the visit 406 273-6837. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.This big beautiful Anatolian girl was found as a stray in Utah almost two years ago with not a lot being known about her.  She spent the last two years living in a pasture and getting some attention - enough to know that she just doesn't get along with other dogs.  She does love people and affection and is very friendly! Typically of LGD breeds, she especially appears to not enjoy the company of other females. At one point she did really well with a super sweet male Border Collie, so it just may be that she's ok with mellow boys.  We just prefer to say that she needs to be the only dog..... she has been with a trainer for the last two weeks and that is the trainer's recommendation.  Pyper is extremely strong and can be a bit of a hand-full when on a leash. ALL OF THAT SAID, WE KNOW THAT THIS SWEET GIRL IS MUCH FRIENDLIER THAN WHAT SHE MAY APPEAR. WE ALSO BELIEVE THAT SHE NEEDS TO GO TO SOMEONE WHO HAS EXPERIENCE WITH LGD BREEDS.
