Buddy is a good, strong dog that needs a loving home IMMEDIATELY. He's in his second home already, and his current humans love him with all his quirks. However with the imminent death of Mama human, and several other ability to care for him changes, he needs someone able to give him all the care he deserves. He was previously kept tied up in a basement for his first 3ish years, and largely unsocialized. He's only been in his new home approx a year or less.Kids make him nervous and (loudly) defensive. He's protective and choosey of those he feels comfortable with. He's been too strong to test if he's choosey about dog friends, though he's been very patient with a visiting toy breed puppy. My cousin's dog, but I love him and how sweet he can be. Trainable, smart, attentive, still learning what play is. Mostly a couch potato, enjoys taking walks but pulls. Needs recall training, neutering, possible allergies/sensitivities causing skin and ear issues, dental care. SLOBBERY. Lapdog wannabe

She is thin, covered in healing sores, and clearly has survived long-term neglect — yet she STILL meets everyone with soft eyes and a hopeful heart. Kendra walks wonderfully on leash, is calm, quiet, and so grateful for any kindness. She leans in for love and takes treats with the gentlest little mouth. This girl has not let her past break her spirit. 💔 Kendra will be killed if she doesn’t get rescue or an adopter immediately. She has fought hard just to stay alive — she deserves a chance to finally be loved. ⭐ Kendra’s Highlights • Sweet, gentle, calm girl • Walks great on leash • Appears dog-friendly • Takes treats softly • Survived severe neglect but still loves people • Medium/large Catahoula mix ❤️ Kendra deserves a hero. Gru came in as a stray, and after contacting his previous owner through his microchip, he was officially surrendered. This sweetheart is so loving, walks beautifully on leash, adores treats, and is the best puppy pal in the shelter. He’s strong, but he melts into you during cuddle time. Gru is now struggling with kennel stress, and we are desperately trying to find a home or rescue RIGHT NOW. He is truly an incredible dog who deserves safety, love, and stability.
