Story
Fig is around 1 and a half years old. I adopted him from a shelter after the passing of my previous dog, who was 14. I have several medical issues that makes it difficult to care for a young dog with bursts of energy. Fig is very playful, loves to be around his humans, he is very much a velcro dog. When he does play, he can be "mouthy", but won't bite. He is up-to-date on all of his shots and is vaccinated for rabies. He is house trained, walks great on a leash. He is shy at first, but once he settles, he is very friendly with other people and dogs. He has never growled, barked, or whined since I've had him. He has no food aggression. He doesn't really like treats or toys, and will absolutely avoid a dog bed and furniture to sleep on. He loves attention and pets. He can be very lazy and can fall asleep anywhere. He does jump on his people when he gets really excited, but calms down quickly. He rides well in a car.
