BREED – Bull Mastiff SEX – male BIRTHDAY – May 28, 2022 WEIGHT – 120lbs HEALTH – None TEMPERMENT - Ernie needs to be in a home with no other animals (He is territorial within his home). - People friendly, he loves everyone he meets. - Moderate-high prey drive. He is good on leash but his prey drive can kick in when he sees a squirrel/rabbit. He is not reactive to other dogs when out on a walk. - He doesn’t have food/toy aggression. - Ernie requires daily exercise, he has no problem going on an hour walk or 30 minute run, however he is a calm boy when in his home. - Requires a fence yard. He has been known to take himself on walks by himself. - Ernie is very sweet and loveable, he will always want to be near you. He is very loyal and will be your shadow, even in the bathroom! OWNER SUITABILITY - He is dominant and can be stubborn (typical mastiff) so he would therefore need someone with experience with a large breed alpha dog. - He is a large boy who doesn’t always know his own size and can be uncomfortable around small children so a home with children 10+. - He is house trained and is used to being home during the day when I am at work. - Must be okay with drool, as mastiff are known for the this. - There is a rescue fee.
