Story
Duncan is a love bug and a gentle giant, and SO sweet and a touch submissive. He is great in any situation and with everyone he meets. Duncan is 2 years old and 110 lbs, so he will get bigger over the next year or so. Duncan would do great with another dog and a large fenced yard, (although he can jump a 4') and with people who have giant breed experience. He is well mannered, crate trained, and will off leash train. He is so much cuter in person and truly, just the best. A must meet, for he will steal your heart for sure... LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)   February 27, 2026, 11:46 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Our Gentle Giant  This beautiful 3-year-old female Bullmastiff is the definition of a loving, laid-back companion. Weighing in at approximately 120 pounds, she truly believes she’s a lap dog — and honestly, we’re not here to argue with her! She absolutely adores people of all ages, including little kids. Her temperament is calm, affectionate, and incredibly gentle. She has previously lived with other female dogs and did well. So far, she seems easygoing and adaptable. She does seem to admire men just a little more than women and really lights up around them, so she would love a home that includes a male presence. Her favorite things?• Attention and affection• Giving sweet kisses• Taking treats ever so gently• And if you happen to have cheese balls… she’s your new best friend  Because she previously lived in a kennel environment, we are currently working on housebreaking. The good news? She is crate trained and will bark to let you know when she needs to go outside — she just needs consistency and routine to fully transition into home life. She will benefit from continued work on basic obedience and leash skills, but she is eager to please and responds well to gentle guidance. With structure, patience, and positive reinforcement, she will thrive. She is currently thriving in a foster home and is ready to find her forever family to continue her journey in a loving, structured home environment.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.  We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions. We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.  Thank you!March 1, 2026, 8:29 pm
