Story
Sweet Josie is 5 years old. We adopted her when she was just a tiny baby. She does have extra toes- making her extra special. She is sweet, spunky, loves to play. She is mostly an indoor cat but does like to occasionally go outside. She is a fantastic mouse and snake hunter.Over the past 2 years she has started to pee outside of her litter box sometimes. We have taken her to the vet and ruled out any medical issues, this seems to be a behavioral issue brought on by stress. I have a busy household with 3 children, that she is very sweet and loving to. Our kids like to have friends over and that will cause Josie to become anxious, even though the kids leave her alone. It seems that our home and lifestyle is causing her stress and anxiety. We just want her to be in a loving and happy home that she feels comfortable in at all times. This is a very hard choice for us but ultimately feel that it is the right thing to do for our sweet Josie.

Story
We adopted Ruthie at 6 months old in 2022 from Foothills Animal Shelter. She is a 4.5 year old playful, sassy girl with a lot of boundaries. Typically, when meeting new people, she will hiss and hide, but as she becomes comfortable, she will venture out and start to sit near you. After a long warming up period, she will typically choose to hang out in the same room as her safe people. She is not a fan of being handled or even pet, but she is a great companion who will hang out with you and snuggle up with you on a comfy blanket.She is not a good fit for households with young children and would most likely thrive in another quiet household where she is the only furry friend.
