Hello everyone, my name is Inky. I’m an adult bombay boy, estimated to be around 5 years old. I am FIV positive, but I promise I am a good boy. I don’t fight with anyone and I can live with non-fiv kitties, just like I have in foster home. Thankfully I’m completely healthy and barely affected by my immune condition. I like to play but my favorite thing to do is peak out the window. Sometimes I think I miss the outside, but then I remember how difficult it was, and I’m happy to stay safe indoors. I have large scars on my neck, but I don’t think they are ugly. My scars tell my life story and is a reminder that I am a surviver. I love my human and i’m the most loyal. I will lay close and watch you at all times. I’m reserved most of the time, but will rub up against you from time to time, and definitely enjoy some good old pets. Meet Sparky, His story is that of a kitten who persisted for a chance at a forever home. Sparky appeared behind one of our founder's backyard. He was then trapped for TNR (trap, neuter, and release) and then released as he seemed feral and already too used to the outdoors. However, only a few weeks after being released, he came back and would ask for food and try to play with the inside kitties through the glass door. Our founder was touched and felt an overwhelming sensation that he needed to be brought inside for a second chance. In the months that ensued, she worked tirelessly to socialize him, because, although he was not feral, Sparky was still skittish and mistrusting of humans. But as some people say, sometimes food is the way to someone's heart. And this was the case with Sparky. Being given yummy food and treats, as well as wonderful pets as a reward, made him realize that some humans are actually good. We made Sparky a promise to find him his forever home, one filled with love, adventure, fun, and of course delicious food! Sparky loves being around other cats and playing with them as much as possible. There’s no cat he’s never liked. He's not overly active as he also enjoys taking naps on his cat tree and looking through the window. He's looking for a loving family who will spoil him big time. As Sparky opens up, he becomes the biggest purring machine with some slight drooling because he simply can't contain his enjoyment! That angelic faith of his is a reminder that we all deserve another opportunity even if the odds seem against us. Sparky is about 10 months-old, dewormed, vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, fixed, and microchipped.
