Story
Squeaks is a beautiful orange tabby male who was born around Jan 2023. He was found with a wound on his tummy which required surgery and brought into a foster home. Squeaks was born outdoors and is shy with new folks. He lives with his foster mom and dad and their two cats. He is devoted to his foster parents. Squeaks follows them around and is a real lap cat. He is playful and loving. He loves to play with the other two cats in the household. He likes toys and would do well with any family who puts in time to gain his trust. Orange cats are thought to be friendlier and more affectionate than other cats. They tend to be snuggly. Some orange tabbies are so affectionate that they are often cat-egorized as “velcro” kitties. **Adoption fee of $140 includes spay/neuter, vet visits, deworming, and shots. ** Adoption Application: mercyrescue.org

Story
Emily and her sisters Lorelai, Rory & Sookie were born outside to a mom that was abandoned by her previous owner. A kind woman took them all in to keep them safe until the kittens were weaned, when they came into rescue. Emily appears to be shy, but don’t let that fool you. She is independent and adventurous and loves to explore the house. She likes to play and sleep with her 3 sisters and another litter of 4 kittens that are now her adopted littermates. Emily is litterbox trained. There are dogs in her foster home, but she hasn’t had close contact with them. Emily’s DOB is 4/25/24 She is a gorgeous Russian blue with marbling on her sides and stripes running down her back. Her fur is short-medium. **Adoption fee of $50 includes 1st shots, vet visits, and deworming. An additional $35 will be added to the fee if adopter wants FIV/FeLV testing.** Adoption Application: mercyrescue.org

Story
Steele and his sister were rescued by a good Samaritan who saved them from being killed by some dogs. Steele is the ideal kitten. He is independent, confident, playful, fearless, but can also be a lovebug. You just have to touch him, and his motor starts running with an adorable purrrrrr…. He’s good with other kittens and cats and does well with the crazy dogs that live in his foster home. Steele would do best with another kitten to play with in his adoptive home. Steele is a Russian blue tabby (if you look closely, you’ll see tabby markings) with a little white patch on his chest and a white patch on his belly. **Adoption fee of $50 includes 1st shots, vet visits, and deworming. An additional $35 will be added to the fee if adopter wants FIV/FeLV testing.** Adoption Application: mercyrescue.org
