I found Lola and her sister under a trailer at work. She has been with me for about 2 years and has never gotten along with my other cats (they’re bullies). She is still very shy and timid but super sweet.

Story
My mother has Alzheimer’s and I had to move her into a care facility. She had adopted her cat Lucy when she was a feral kitten. Since then, Lucy has really only allowed mom to get near her. Her aggressive behavior means that she could not join mom. As such, we must find a new home for Lucy. This is an URGENT request.A beautiful tortoiseshell, she is not an easy cat, mostly due to the fact that she hides, hisses at new people and other animals, and she occasionally swats and scratches. Please keep this in mind as you consider whether she is a right fit for you.I promised mom that I would not put Lucy down—something I wouldn't want to do anyway, especially if there is a cat lover out there who has a track record of providing a loving home to more challenging, spicy cats. Please help make sure this already difficult transition a little easier by giving my mother the peace of mind that Lucy is going to a good home.
