Story
Buff came to us in January 2020 as a stray. We believe she’s about 6–7 years old now. She is one of the most affectionate, easygoing cats—she loves to cuddle and will happily sit beside (or right on) her people any chance she gets, and is playfully known as "Chonk". After we lost her best friend last August, things in our home changed. The dynamic between our cats shifted, and unfortunately Buff began to be bullied. It got to the point where she didn’t feel safe leaving her comfort spots like the bed or couch, and she started having accidents because she couldn’t access the litter box safely. We made the decision to give her her own space in a separate room, and since then she has been so much happier. We’ve tried slowly reintroducing her to the other cats over the past several months, but it hasn’t been successful. With a new baby coming in August, we unfortunately need the room she is in as the future nursery and want to find her a new, low-stress, preferably single-cat home.
