Burmese kittens & cats in New Braunfels, Texas

Uriel is a big teddy bear who just wants to knead biscuits and tell you all about his day.  He is a very large kitty, about 15 lbs, but will still let you hold him.  Careful with his kneady hands though, he doesn't realize how pokey he can be, so give him a couple of layers. :) He can also be a chatty cathy, but once he finds a comfy spot he will chill out.  Also, you can give him a catnip toy and that will mesmerize him for a while.  Importantly, Uriel is a special needs kitty, in that he had a pretty severe urinary tract infection in his history. He must eat kidney specific prescription food.  He does like it though, so no worries about him not eating enough!  He is a burrower, so if you lose sight of him, check any couches or beds with blankets... there may be a suspicious lump there.  If you call to him though, he usually will respond and come out.  He is also a bit of a scaredy cat; he will jump a bit at sudden noises, or not interact with other cats, even if they are well intentioned.   He would be best with a family with no big dogs or small children.   ##2834814##

I have had Hiko for about 4 months. He snuck into my house when my roommate was leaving for work and i ended up finding him when i got up. My best guess is he is about a year old now as of october. He has adjusted to my roomates dog wonderfully and keepy trying to play with the old dog. He is playful and very cuddly. When i get home he is waiting at the door and will lead the way to my room and jump up to try and sit on my lap. When i go to bed he will hop onto the bed and lay next to me to sleep. He accidentally learned to play fetch. I toss a toy of his and he will chase it down and play a bit before bringing it back and dropping it somewhere close to me. He never puts it in my hand but near my feet is common. He will try to artack hands but i have slowly gotten him to be better about that. He may grab but it is gentle now and i just pull away and give him a different toy. A bit more time should break him of that. He is overall soft and gentle. He is very playful and loves cuddling.

Mika is an 8 month old, playful, adorable fur baby who sometimes gets overwhelmed by her own energy. She needs an experienced cat owner who can tame her wild side. She has been around children and other cats and could probably ease into a dog friendship over time. She's got an inner tiger that will probably calm down with age but our family is too big and stressful for her right now. We believe she'd thrive in a home with someone who could help her channel her energy into positive activities, someone who understands her mischievous side.
