Story
Keare - ID# 20626 - Kennel #303 - Arrived July 7th - Terrier Mix - Grey - Female - 1 Year Old - 22 lbs (estimated adult weight 22-26 lbs) - Spayed - Up to Date on Vaccines - Heartworm Negative Keare is a scruffy, endearing grey terrier mix with a wiry coat, a charmingly unkempt beard and brow, and soulful dark eyes that give her an instantly lovable look. Her small, sturdy frame and expressive face give her the kind of scrappy charm that terrier lovers tend to fall for immediately. She arrived at Cobb Animal Services on July 7th, and at 1 year old, this petite girl has just a bit more filling out to do before reaching her full adult size. Keare arrived alongside Queen, and the comfort of a familiar face has likely made this transition a little easier for both of them. They are so bonded, the shelter wants them to be adopted together. Their previous owners were no longer able to keep them due to a lack of space in the home. Keare is a sweet, well-mannered girl who is house trained and already knows sit and stay, and she walks well on a leash, showing a solid foundation of training and a real eagerness to connect with the people around her. Like many dogs adjusting to a new setting, she may take a little time to warm up, but her gentle, eager-to-please nature comes through clearly once she settles in. Queen and Keare are waiting in Kennel #303, hoping for a patient home where they can truly settle in, relax, and show the world the sweet, loyal girls they can be. Like many dogs in a new place, they may need a little time to adjust, but their sweet, easygoing nature comes through more and more with each passing day. Keare and Queen are waiting in Kennel #303. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
