Meet Tootie – Your Couch Cuddle Buddy! 🐾 Tootie is a calm, sweet 3.5-year-old boy (17 lbs) who loves nothing more than snuggling on the couch and spending time with his humans. He walks well on a leash, enjoys playing with his toys, and is kennel trained. He’s learning house manners and would do best in a home with other calm dogs, as high-energy pups can overwhelm him. Tootie came to us when his previous owner became ill and could no longer care for him. He arrived covered in fleas and with skin issues, but after lots of TLC, he’s healthy, happy, and ready for a soft spot on the couch, belly rubs, and plenty of treats. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who will melt your heart, Tootie is your guy! 💛

Story
Hi.  My name is Roxie.  I am a terrier mix that is about thirteen years old and I weigh about 42 pounds.  I came to the rescue years ago as puppy and was adopted twice but was recently returned.  My first fur sister and I got into a fight but no one knows why. I mean we have lived together for years with no problems so I am just not sure what happened.  My second mom just decided she didn't have time for me.  Anyways, I am looking for a new home now...it's best to have a home as an only fur child.   I am smart and well trained.  I know all my basic obedience and a few extra tricks.  I am crate trained and house trained. I am a happy girl that loves to run and play or just hang out with you.  I have a soft scruffy coat.  I will bark and let you know if anyone is at the fence or the door.  I wasn't raised around children so it would be a good idea if they were older. I am loyal and loving. Maybe we could take some walks together?  I am current on vaccinations (including canine influenza), am spayed, micro chipped and had my teeth clean and polished (I lost a few but I am just fine).  My adoption fee is 75.00.  The first step in the adoption process is to complete and application for me, Roxie, at dogsasfamily.org.  I am ready to share my sweet smile and devotion with you.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 12, 2025, 7:00 pm
