Story
PLEASE NOTE SCOTT IS A DIRECT ADOPTION FROM MEXICO. ONCE ADOPTED HE WILL GO DIRECTLY TO ADOPTER AND IT IS RECOMMENDED SHE BE ENROLLED IN TRAINING CLASSES. We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption. NAME: Scott Age: 6 months Breed: Mexi-Mix Sex: Male Weight: Expected weight we believe 30 to 35 lbs. Location: MEXICO (Everything, including transport is included in adoption fee) Adoption fee: $700.00 Spayed/Neutered: Yes Leash trained: Work in progress House trained: Yes Kids/Cats/Dogs: Yes, good with dogs, cats unknown, children 8+ Vetting: Up to date on all vaccination, sterilized, microchipped, 4dx tested: negative for Heart worm. Currently on flea/tick/heart worm prevention, dewormed and vet checked before arriving. Medical Issues: None Comes with 4 weeks free pet insurance (after initial vet visit) During the spay/neuter campaign of our sister rescue SOS el Arca in Mexico. A mama dog was noticed looking for food in the area. She came back looking for more. They knew that there were puppies nearby so she was followed and her litter was found. They were able to trap the puppies and in turn, the mom as well. Some puppies were found and beautiful Scott was one of them. The shelter is overwhelmed with puppies right now and we need this beautiful baby to come to us to have a life he deserves not one living in a kennel for months and months. Scott attained an injury in the shelter that resulted in a broken leg. Two pins were inserted, one was removed and one will remain for the rest of his life. He is happy and playful. He is a typical puppy who is energetic and mischievous but with training (mandatory with proof of receipt) he will develop into a beautiful dog. His potty training has begun and will require work from the adopter, crate training and routine will assist greatly with this. Her ideal home would be one with or without another dog, a fenced in yard backyard to expend his energy as gets a little older. Respectful children and someone who works from home, at least part of the day is a must. If you feel you would be the right fit for Scott, please fill out an adoption application at https://www.allpawsmatter.ca/apply-to-adopt/ All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety. NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed. BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!
