Story
History: Harry Styles is a super sweet boy who arrived to rescue in desperate need of a second chance. He is such a handsome and striking boy who is ready to meet his forever home soon!
A Note from the Foster: Hello every pawdy, my name is Harry Styles and I am a 2 year old West Highland Terrier (westie for short)! Harry is big on personality, loves giving lots of kisses and is a playful, fun-loving guy who loves to play ball, play with his toys, watch TV, especially Lucky dog or any channel with any dog on it. He also is a big fan of zoomies, chasing squirrels or any vermin. His favorite pastime, and when he is happiest when he has a furry friend to keep up with, or hang out on the bed and chew on a chew stick. When he first came to my home, he was a bit skittish at first, but calmed down quite a bit. He would do well with another dog companion and the same size in his forever home. He came to me with little to no socialization, but has mastered that now. We go outside for our morning potty walks, and meet other dogs on our walks. He follows me everywhere I go, he is my little shadow. Oh and he loves to sing too! Aroooo! LOL!
Westies are very smart, independent and extremely food motivated, which makes learning new commands a fun challenge! He's still is afraid of what a garbage can is and any big work truck. He puts on those breaks right away and turns around to walk the other way. Harry is crate trained but would rather sleep with you on your bed! He currently gets car sick right now, which I am finding out. We do have some medicine for that!
He is looking for a family that understands the interdependencies of a Westie. He's still a bit shy with new people and can be cautious at first, but everyday he gains more trust and confidence. With patience, love, and the right environment he blossoms into a sweet little buddy.
