Lady Lucille is a young, playful girl with a sweet heart that`s just waiting for the right person. She can be a little hesitant when meeting new people, particularly men, and prefers to take introductions at her own pace. Once she feels comfortable, her affectionate personality shines through. She becomes very attached to her people and loves belly rubs, snuggles, and spending time close to those she trusts.This happy girl enjoys walks, playtime, and the company of other dogs. She has done well with both small and large canine companions and would likely enjoy having a dog friend in her new home. We also believe she could do well living with cats after a slow and proper introduction.Lady Lucille has been making great progress with potty training in her foster home. She goes potty outside and will also use potty pads when needed. When her foster mom is away, she does well being gated in her own room and settles in nicely. At bedtime, she`s flexible and happy to either sleep in bed with her person or rest comfortably in her own space.While Lady Lucille may be a little shy at first, she`s also a young, playful dog who loves walks, playtime, and having fun with her people and canine friends. Her ideal family will appreciate both her sweet, affectionate side and her youthful energy.Please note: - Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed. - Applications can be downloaded from our website. (http://neenahanimalshelter.org/how-to-adopt.html) - Our shelter has open visiting hours for cats, however pre-approved application are needed prior to an adoption. Appointments may be scheduled with an approved application as well, otherwise we may not be able to accommodate same day adoptions. - Approved applications are required prior to meeting any of our dogs.**Kittens are required to be adopted in pairs, unless there already is a cat in the home. If the cat in the home is 10 years or older, this two-kitten policy will apply.
