Meet Callie, a stunning young mama cat with a heart full of love and a calm, gentle spirit. We were contacted by a tenant at an apartment complex who found this pregnant beauty curled up on her porch, seeking a safe place to have her baby. Of course, we couldn’t say no—and not long after arriving in our care, Callie gave birth to a single precious kitten.
Now that her mama duties are done, Callie is ready for a forever home of her own—and she deserves nothing less than the best. She is friendly, affectionate, and loves lounging in sunny spots and receiving gentle pets.
Callie is in a foster home with several other kitties she could be adopted with if you're looking for a pair.
All pets are microchipped, and the registration fee paid for lifetime.
We do offer a discount when adopting more than one pet.
Having a feline friend can be incredibly beneficial for their social and emotional well-being, providing comfort and support throughout their lives.

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.
The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application.
Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.
NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.
If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.
