Story
Alice showed up at one of our employees homes, starving. She was super friendly so they fed her and noticed she had milk so they followed her and found she had 3 kittens up the street at the maintenance shop for a local motel. The motel said they were dumped. Once room was available they all came to the shelter. Alice was a good mom and is super friendly and sweet. She is not a huge fan of being picked up but loves affection otherwise. AS you can see in the photo, she begs for affection and will be a wonderful pet. If you would like more information, please go to our website www.schspets.org and complete an adoption application and someone will contact you for a meet and greet.April 29, 2026, 3:35 pm

Story
Hazel was found as a kitten, a friend of mine rescued her and i decided to take her. I’ve had her about 3-4 years. I’m assuming this is about her age as well as she was only 3-6 months when i got her. She a very sweet cat, super friendly to everyone. She’s not one to run and hide when company is over, she greets everyone. She handles children well, but they can overwhelm her and she might hide from them after a while. Unfortunately, i’m not able to keep her anymore due to landlord issues. I’m hoping to find her a home with plenty of windows for her to sit in. She loves it a lot. Although she is good with kids, I think she prefers a quieter household, so maybe single or couple would be best. I want to find the best home for my baby.

Story
Meet Cinnamon   Cinnamon is a beautiful medium-haired calico with a story of strength, survival, and just the right amount of sass. Estimated to be around 1–2 years old, this resilient mama knows exactly who she is—and she’s not afraid to show it.   Before rescue, Cinnamon was a familiar face around Taco Bell, doing whatever she could to find a meal. By the time she was finally brought to safety, she had already relocated to a nearby home’s crawl space—where she gave birth and successfully raised her two babies like the strong, devoted mom she is.   Now that her days of surviving are behind her, Cinnamon is ready to be someone’s spoiled house cat.   She absolutely loves pets and will happily show off her expert biscuit-making skills when she’s content. She gets along well with other cats but sets healthy boundaries—she’s not a pushover and won’t tolerate any nonsense. Basically, she’s the perfect mix of sweet and sassy.   Cinnamon would do great in a home that appreciates her independent spirit while still giving her plenty of love and attention.   ##2688914##

Story
We are looking for a special home for our 5-year-old female cat who has the sweetest and most affectionate personality. She absolutely loves to cuddle and sleep next to her human at night, and once she bonds with someone she becomes a very loyal little companion. She was the runt of her litter, which seems to have given her a gentle and sensitive nature. She can be shy when meeting new people and prefers a calm, quieter home, but with a little patience she warms up and becomes incredibly loving and devoted. She enjoys spending time outside exploring and hunting, then coming back in to relax and snuggle. She really thrives when she has someone who enjoys giving her affection and companionship. This decision has been very difficult for us because she truly is a wonderful cat. Our biggest priority is finding a safe, stable, and loving home where she will be treated like family and get the attention she deserves.

Story
Are you easy on the eyes, a good and loving soul, and someone who also hates being messed with or touched? Congratulations, you may have just met your feline twin. Meet Salsa. She’s a stunning calico with a big personality and a very clear boundary line. Salsa has survived a traumatic past with an unknown amount of abuse, and because of that, she takes trust very seriously. She is not a lap cat, not a cuddle bug, and not here for unsolicited affection. And honestly? Same, girl. Salsa is a good cat. She enjoys her space, her routine, and being admired from a respectful distance. She can show affection in her own subtle ways once she feels safe, but on her terms only. Think quiet companionship, not constant hands-on love. Her ideal home is a calm, adult-only environment with no small children and no other pets. Salsa needs a patient, understanding human who appreciates a cat with boundaries and won’t take it personally when she says “no thank you.” If you believe love doesn’t always look like snuggles, and you respect a strong-willed queen who knows what she wants, Salsa might just be your perfect match.
