Story
Darla is so beautiful! She has a very regal look about her.  She is calm, quiet, and affectionate.  She does good with dogs and most other cats and probably wouldn't mind kids either. She enjoys being both inside and outside. Darla is litter box trained, spayed and current on shots. This sweet little lady needs a loving family to take her in! If you would like more information, please contact our shelter at 870-269-5200 or go to our website at schspts.org and complete and adoption application and someone will contact you for a meet and greet.November 15, 2025, 11:18 am

Story
Meet Quinn – the Queen of Quirky Calicos!Quinn is a 5-year-old calico beauty with a big personality and an even bigger heart—on her own terms, of course. This charming girl adores attention… when she’s ready for it. If she’s not in the mood, she’ll politely let you know with her signature gentle hiss. (It’s just her way of saying, “Not now, human.”)Despite her quirky habits, Quinn truly is a wonderful cat who brings joy to anyone who understands her unique style of affection. She can be slow to warm up to other pets, so she would thrive best in a home where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself. If you’re looking for a cat with character, charm, and a one-of-a-kind personality, Quinn might just be your perfect match! 🐾💛To make the best possible match for you and the pet, please follow the link below to complete the Adoption Application. Once your application has been processed, we'll be in contact. We cannot schedule a meet and greet without a completed application. Please go to http://ootwrescue.org/adoption to fill out an application or review our Adoption Process.Cat adoption fee is $100. Dog adoption fee is $150, unless otherwise specified.

Story
Bobbi is a rare sight...a diluted calico with a bob tail...or no tail really! She also has beautiful green eyes. Her owner had to go into a nursing home, so she was brought here. Bobbi is very shy and used to run and hide from us, but she is getting used to being here and is settling down. She allows us to approach her and pet her now! Bobbi is spayed, litterbox trained and does well with other kitties. She has only been inside but might like to adventure outside at some point. Bobbi will need a patient home that will give her the time and space to hide until she is comfortable enough to come out and say hello, but that won't take too long! If you would like more information, please go to our website www.schspets.org and complete an adoption application and someone will contact you for a meet and greet.December 1, 2025, 1:33 pm

Story
Alice showed up at one of our employees homes, starving. She was super friendly so they fed her and noticed she had milk so they followed her and found she had 3 kittens up the street at the maintenance shop for a local motel. The motel said they were dumped. Once room was available they all came to the shelter. Alice was a good mom and is super friendly and sweet. She is not a huge fan of being picked up but loves affection otherwise. AS you can see in the photo, she begs for affection. If you would like more information, please go to our website www.schspets.org and complete an adoption application and someone will contact you for a meet and greet.October 8, 2025, 2:08 pm
