two cats, sisters from same litter, we have had them for ten years, predominately my recently deceased wife's cats . I am allergic and cannot give them the affection they need I do want them to stay together, shots are current, no known aliments. One is very affectionate one a little stand offish

Meet Maggie! Maggie is a beautiful almost 5 year old calico girl with a sweet personality and so much love left to give. Maggie originally came to our shelter as a young kitten and was lucky enough to find a home of her own. Sadly, she has recently found her way back to us through no fault of her own after her beloved human passed away. After years of having a family to call her own, Maggie is hoping her next chapter will be a forever one.Despite the big changes in her life, Maggie has been quick to make friends with our shelter staff and volunteers. This lovely girl is chatty, affectionate, and happiest when she is getting attention from her favorite people. She loves being pet, snuggling up on a lap, and reminding you that she has plenty to say!Maggie previously lived with dogs and did well in a home environment. We don`t know much about her experience with other cats, so slow and thoughtful introductions would be best if she is joining a feline household.More than anything, Maggie is looking for someone to love and a cozy place where she can feel safe and cherished again. She is such a good girl, and we know there is a special family out there who will see just how wonderful she is. We can`t wait to help Maggie find the loving forever home she deserves.

For that reason, we think she may be happiest as the only feline in her new home, where she can enjoy having all the attention to herself.The good news is that Nala has previously lived with both dogs and kiddos and has gotten along splendidly with them!
