Story
Free to loving home. Will provide cat carrier. Spayed, up to date vaccinations, and microchipped. Midna was adopted from the Jacksonville Humane Society in 2018. She was born in May of 2018 and is 7 years old. She loves cuddles and to be on a lap. She gets along well with our other cat and daughter. She can be skittish but warms up quickly. She does have a special diet of wet food. She currently eats Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets UR wet cat food. She is a very loving and sweet cat, who would do well with a loving household.

Story
I found beans when she was a kitten on the side of the road during 2020. Took her to the vet for all her kitten shots and she was good to go. Shes an indoors cat. Shes been with me for five years and has been absolutely amazing. She is pretty independent but loves a routine and knows when it’s time to cuddle. She is a bit shy, she loves to lay in closets or look out the windows. I have two dogs at home but she pretty much ignores them and doesn’t really interact much because they are super hyper. My roommate also has a cat and same thing she doesnt interact much. she just loves attention from people once shes comfortable. She doesnt jump on counters or climb anything too high, only beds and windowsills pretty much. I have to move and my boyfriend is allergic and now that I have two dogs I feel bad for the amount of attention I’m able to give her recently- it’s not much. If you love unconditional love, youll love beans.

Story
Introducing Rufus!A handsome and affectionate neutered male kitty who is in need of a special home. Beans has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), but don't let that discourage you. With the right care and understanding, Beans can still live a happy and fulfilling life.FIV is a virus that affects a cat's immune system, making them more susceptible to infections. However, it's important to note that FIV cannot be transmitted to humans or other non-feline animals. Cats with FIV can live long and healthy lives with proper care and attention.Beans is a playful and loving soul who deserves a chance at a forever home. Despite his diagnosis, he is still full of energy and affection. He loves to play, snuggle, and be showered with love and attention. Bean's positive attitude and zest for life are truly inspiring. We are searching for a compassionate and knowledgeable adopter who understands the unique needs of an FIV-positive cat. Beans should be the only cat in the household or live with other FIV-positive cats, as the virus can be transmitted through deep bite wounds. With proper veterinary care, a balanced diet, and a stress-free environment, Beans can lead a happy and comfortable life.By adopting Beans, you will not only provide him with a loving home but also become an advocate for FIV-positive cats. Educating others about the condition and breaking the stigma surrounding FIV is crucial in helping these wonderful feline companions find the homes they deserve.ADOPTION PROCESS: The adoption process is simple and straight forward.Pre-Screening Adoption Application here: https://tinyurl.com/adoptfromHSCCOur receptionists can usually approve/dis-approve your application same day.
