Story
Let me be part of your world! My name is Ariel, and I’m a 4 year old beauty with a stunning color pattern that will take your breath away. I’m very shy and can be a bit flighty, so I’ll need a patient and understanding home where I can feel safe. I’m not a fan of being picked up, but with time and gentle affection, I’ll learn to trust and show my sweet side. If you’re willing to go slow and let me come out of my shell at my own pace, I just might be the perfect quiet companion for you!✨ Fast Facts About Me:Good with cats: YesGood with dogs: UnknownGood with children: Over 5 years oldHousetrained: YesGive the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me! Story
Adopted from a shelter as a kitten. She is declawed & spayed. Would do best without a dog in the home but is tolerant to them - she comes from goldendoodle home. She does fine with children other than it takes her a minute to become comfortable around new humans. She loves on her own timing but otherwise prefers to do her own thing, sometimes sassy. Enjoys playing with stringy toys or will curl up with you with a cozy blanket. No special diets. Will include her toys, food bin w/food, & kitty bowls. Can also include her litter box upon request. New medications that have suppressed my immune system has caused allergies when interacting with her. She is super sweet & sassy. We will miss her dearly and pray she finds a loving home that is able to give her more love.

Story
Jinx is an extremely loving and sweet cat. She will be 3 around July 25th. She is truly a wonderful cat but she is extremely picky. We have had a constant peeing problem with her. If things are not just the way she likes she will pee on things. When things are perfect she will use the litter box. We have small kids and can’t keep having her peeing on things. I’m hoping someone with more time for her will be better. She is fixed and up to date on shots that I know of. Asking 100 because we have paid the her being fixed and her shots would be willing to go down in price as long as she can get into a happy loving home that can give more time for her.

Story
Dear Adopter,I brought Pipp home as a foster in January of this year. At that point, she had been at the shelter for 10 months. Pipp was already very shy when she first came to the shelter as a 4-month-old. Sadly, the stress of being in a shelter environment became too much. She became even more reserved and eventually shut down completely, refusing human contact. When I brought her home, she remained shut-down and in a freeze state for about a week and a half. Her daily rhythm was messed up for even longer – she was active throughout the night, and asleep for as long as the sun was out.At the week and a half mark, she was finally willing to take Churu from me. This was when we began clicker training. We started with simple target training, with her touching her nose to a target stick. This helped her start to gain some confidence. Eventually, I moved on to training her to “Sit Pretty,” and now, she knows how to jump through a hoop!Pipp wasn’t comfortable with interactive play when she first got here, but it’s now one of her favorite activities. I have different wand toys in the closet in her room, and every time I go in the closet, she will follow me and look at the wall where the wand toys are. “I would like to play, please, Foster Mom!” Let me tell you, SHE. LOVES. TO. PLAY. She’s a mighty hunter, this one.Pipp will also follow me to the closet for her favorite treat in the world – Churu. “Is it time for Churu, Foster Mom?” And yes, it’s always time for Churu. I have never been able to resist “the look.” Pipp is still uncomfortable with human contact, but she will lick Churu off my finger! (Foster Mom Tip: She only likes the Churu brand of lickable treats!)About a month and a half in, Pipp had a major breakthrough. She completely came out of her shell and became friends with my cats. She started meowing, purring, and making biscuits. She ADORES my cats. She loves to nuzzle them and cuddle with them when they sleep. Wait til you see the videos of her and my cat! Insanely cute. Needless to say, Pipp will need a friendly and affectionate cat in her new home to be her very own best friend. It’s a non-negotiable!Just four days before I started writing this letter, Pipp let me know that she was ready to come out of the foster room and explore the rest of the house. Our brave girl has been exploring every nook and cranny that’s available to her. She also got on a couch possibly
