Hi. When I arrived at the shelter, they named me Lady. My name should be Queen. I am vocal, playful and perfectly capable of entertaining you for hours. I have plenty to say, plenty to do and plenty of personality. There is one thing you should know about me: I prefer to be your one and only cat. Face it, I am a calico. Why would you need another one? The volunteers know the shelter isn't the same as a home. There are other cats nearby, different people coming and going, unfamiliar sounds and a lot happening around me. What they do know is that I enjoy people, I love to play and I would like a home where I don't have to share my kingdom with another cat. And being an only cat has its advantages. No complicated introductions. No wondering whether your cats will eventually get along. No competition for the best spot on the couch. Just you and your Queen. I may not be the cat for every home—and that's okay. I only need to be the right cat for one. Could your home be my kingdom? Kit is a sweet cat who loves to play with springs & snuggle with humans. She likes to sit in boxes, chase lasers & snooze in the sun. She tolerates other cats to snuggle with but does not like to play with them or be near them when she’s awake.

Cat was left a trailer park. My brother in law took it in but his schedule now does not work either it. It is currently an indoor and outdoor cat.
