Snickers is a gentle and VERY loving cat. We have loved her in our family for years but our toddler is getting too curious with her and can’t respect a cat’s boundaries unfortunately. Snickers is very patient until her stomach is touched but loves affection on her head and lots of lap time. She is a large lady but has come a long way in her weight loss journey from when we first received her. We are not sure how she does with other pets but she has gotten along great with our children of all ages. We hope to find her a more calm environment!

Fettuccine is a low-maintenance independent girl looking for a calm home where she can thrive. We adopted Fettuccine about two years ago, and she quickly bonded with our resident cat, Alfredo. She has lived alongside other felines before and generally acclimates to new cat roommates within a couple of weeks. However, about a year ago, we added a dog to our family, and life with a canine has simply proven too stressful for her. After giving her a full year to adjust, it's clear she deserves an environment where she feels completely relaxed and safe. She is content doing her own thing and won’t demand your constant attention. She does cuddle but on her own terms. She is easy to handle—she doesn’t mind being picked up, held, or having her nails trimmed. She's great with her litterbox. She can be vocal when dinner is delayed, but she does great with an automatic timed feeder. A dog-free, pet-free, or an easygoing cat-companion household would be ideal for her.

Khalissi came to live with us about two months ago after her previous owner could no longer keep her due to not having enough time for her. Unfortunately, our male cat has not adjusted well to having her in our home, and we’ve had to keep them separated. It’s been difficult, and we feel Khalissi deserves a home where she can roam freely and get all the attention she loves. Khalissi walked into our house on day one like she owned the place! She’s extremely social, confident, and not the least bit shy. She loves attention, treats, and toys! She’ll even give you little love nibbles when she feels you’re not giving her the attention she deserves. We were told she’s up to date on vaccinations, but we weren’t provided records and haven’t had her seen by our vet yet. She’s a sweet girl with a big personality, and we just want to find her a wonderful home where she can thrive.

Story
Ivy was found in the snowy woods of southeast Iowa by my grandmother in the winter of 2019, when she was only weeks old. When she was about six weeks old, I took her in. She is loving, vocal, a little aloof, and very friendly. She loves staring out windows, hunting bugs, sitting next to you, and *sometimes* cuddling. She wants to be around people and other animals and is not easily scared or shy. She is a fun cat to have! I have had absolutely no problems with her, but I am not able to give her the attention she deserves and it would be better for her if she was with a family who could love on her more.
