Story
Vega's story began with a lucky rescue after was found near College Park with her eyes barely oipen and in danger being run over. Since then, she has blossomed into a sweet, affectionate and delightfully silly 2-yr -old girl. Vega loves to snuggle and will happily crawl under the covers to curl up close to her favorite people. She is social and friendly, getting along wondferfully with other cats, dogs, and children. She's the type of cat who wants to be part of your day, greeting when you come home, following you from room to room (including bathroom trips), and carrying on her own adorable little conversations. She is about 10 lbs. If the cat is under the age of 1 year old or has heath issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name. Adoption fee of $ . covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, FIV/FELV test and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. We only do adoptions on Saturday, and not all animals are able to attend, so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary, so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us to cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap so thank you for your understanding and helping us save as many as possible. Please email Lowcountryanimalrescue@ymail.com for an application.

Story
I am putting these two cats up for adoption. I moved to another country and cannot bring them along. They are both 6 years old, boy (black & grey) is named Broccoli and the girl (white) is named Potato are siblings. The girl is very quiet and timid, but very cuddly once she feels comfortable around you. The boy cat is curious and will approach anyone who will give him heard scratches. They’ve never had any health issues and have lived inside a home since they were adopted. They are both neutered and tagged. They were last given shots in 2020. They must be kept together as they’re very attached to each other.

These cats are in Summerville, South Carolina too!

Story
Miss Tortie is a stray cat who had babies in our backyard about 6 months ago. We don’t know much about her but she’s very sweet with people. She does not like other cats (including her babies). She’s been spayed and is currently living outside in our yard. We love having her around but would prefer her going to someone who could take better care of her.

Story
I’m looking to rehome this sweet girl, Nala. We took her in when my grandma passed Unfortunately, she doesnt get along with other cats and so my parents have been putting her outside most of the time, which isn’t ideal especially with the weather lately. I’m not home enough to keep her separated full-time, and she truly deserves a calm, indoor home where she can be the only cat and feel safe. She does good with any age range and with dogs. She’s such a loving girl and would thrive in the right home. Nala is 7 years old and the perfect mix of curious and cuddly. She loves exploring outside and satisfying her adventurous side, but at the end of the day she’s happiest indoors, curled up next to you. In a calm environment, her sweet playful personality really shines she loves a good crinkle toy or string. Nala isn’t a fan of being picked up, but she loves being near her person and cuddling. If you like to lay around reading or watching tv to decompress Nala is the perfect partner for you.

Story
An Etta James blues song was playing when this little girl first looked at me soulfully with those big eyes. Etta J is a ~ 2-year old, very gentle, 5.5 pound little female tortie. She was relocated away from a large near feral indoor cat population with a single older man whose own health declines created a poor environment. She is therefore still very skiddish, but was the first to let me pet her and pick her up. Though moved with three catmates, she still tends to keep to herself. Etta J needs a person to help her realize the value of good humans. I dont think it would take her too long with more consistent time spent. In the last couple months she has regressed, as I cannot spend the time needed. She needs a stable forever home or foster to help her on her journey. She is spayed, tested negative for feline leukemia, and is up to date on shots and flea meds. Cat items for her success will also accompany her adoption. Can u help this little cat sing more than the blues? Cheers!
