Story
I have an almost 8 year old female cat that loves people, loves cuddles, loves to be an inside outside but can do inside. She is litter box trained. She does not like to be picked up but will jump up on your lap and make Biscuits, drool, and give the best kisses & purrs. I would prefer her to go with someone who has no ther animals and is older but if they do have other animals it needs to be small breed dogs or actual Kittens that she can eventually get to know and take to.

Story
Bella was on the Charleston SPCA page. We felt that we could take care of a car with special needs (blindness). She was born with eye infections and bad eyes. S When we visited the SPCA they also mentioned that her previous owners had let her escape. She survived on the street for two to three weeks. The SPCA went ahead and removed her bad eyes, saying that it would probably make her feel better and have less stress than having infected bad eyes. She was chipped and the owner refused to take her. She was a littly nervous at first, but when we fed her and protected her she warmed up to us. Steadily she has gotten calmer and more loving In the last year she has started to climb on our chest and fall asleep. Once a bird flew into the house and Bella nearly caught it using all her other senses. She is well trained. She loves to be outside sometimes in the sun, but has learned not to run off and will just sit calmly.Once a stray kitten got into house and she puffed upped and growled.

Story
Beans is almost 2 and is your definition of a couch potato. He loves sun bathing or snuggling up with his kitty brother, Finn, or on someone’s lap. He loves playing with the laser toy and watching birds outside. He also never turns down treats!! Due to having two young children we don’t have the time or love for this boy that he deserves. Him and Finn are a bonded pair and must go together. Beans is good with children, however, he does not like his belly touched and can get annoyed rather quickly with our toddler, so older kids would most likely suit him better. He is NOT mean, but does scratch when provoked by little ones. He loves being brushed and loved on-and his unique and very loud purr confirm it! I hope you’ll consider these boys for your family-they’re sweet and ready for lots of snuggles!!

Story
Squid is a 9 year old domestic shorthair that is special needs and FIV positive. When we adopted Squid we were in much different circumstances and despite trying my hardest I sadly can no longer physically or financially afford to take care of my best friend. He is the most wonderful, perfect cat and truly just the sweetest boy alive. He loves other cats when he was housed with them and can cohabitate (as long as the other cats are FIV positive). He is not a big fan of dogs but he adores his humans. He's so friendly, he loves every one I've introduced him to, all age ranges. All he wants is to cuddle with you and groom you while you pet him. He is a gentle guy and definetly a velcro cat, he wants to be with you at all times. If you're willing to give an older guy his best golden years please submit an application.

Story
Lucky is 10 year old stray cat that we found and adopted. He’s been an inside cat his whole life. He loves the outdoors but is very territorial so he doesn’t get along with the neighbors pets. We have since adopted another stray female cat we found but Lucky doesn’t get along with and we have to part ways with him.
