Patches was found wandering around the streets pregnant with nowhere to go. She was brought to us and gave us three beautiful kittens who have all been adopted. Patches is still awaiting for someone to open their home to her. She is a very relaxed kitty that and will make a great addition to any home. Come over to our shelter and give this girl some love.

Gelato is one of the lucky kittens who came to Edgar & Ivy's Cat Sanctuary through our recent collaboration with Weslaco Animal Control. Facing an overwhelming overcrowding crisis and limited resources, Weslaco Animal Control partnered with the ASPCA and local rescues to save as many lives as possible. We were honored to welcome 18 kittens into our care to help prevent unnecessary euthanasia.At approximately 7 weeks old, Gelato is a handsome tabby male with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find a family of his very own.Gelato is a curious and adventurous kitten who loves exploring, chasing toys, and turning everyday objects into exciting new discoveries. He enjoys playtime with other kittens but is equally happy soaking up attention from his human friends. His sweet personality and affectionate nature make him a wonderful companion.After a challenging start in life, Gelato is thriving and looking forward to a future filled with love, comfort, and plenty of playtime.
