Calico kittens & cats in White Oak, Texas

This sweet baby was a dumped and luckily, was dumped right by a good samaritan who got her to a kitty shelter, who then got her over to us. She is as loving as can be. We do not know if she is good with children, but I would think that she would be ok with older kids for sure as she is so good with everyone else. Toddlers I would watch just until you know. She seems to want to know about other cats although she has not had much time with them here at the shelter. But she is curious about them. Unknown with dogs. However she is used to dogs barking at the shelter, so she MAY do ok wit them, especially smaller dogs. She is current on her preventative, but she will nee them again in the middle of July. fully vaccinated, spayed and litter trained.

The week before Easter a very pregnant stray cat showed up at our house. She was so loving I couldn't resist feeding and pampering her. The evening before Easter, she allowed me to brush and rub her tummy. The next morning, Esther had 6 kittens. We brought them in. Ember and her brothers and sisters still live with us. We have given them lots of love and attention. Ember will be a wonderful member of your family.

Please consider Tilly and Bella! They are a bonded pair (mother and daughter) who were very loved but experienced the traumatic passing of their owner. Both are spayed but shot/medical records are unknown and/or not up to date. Neither were well socialized beyond their owner... but are now flourishing in foster care. However, the foster has fallen into very poor health and needs to find them a permanent, loving home ASAP. Tilly (the calico) is a senior (roughly age 10) and is cautious. She is untrusting of new environments and people and will need patience until she warms up and feels safe. Once she does, she is very loving. Bella (tiger-striped) is around 4 and friendly, loving, and playful, and will adapt easily. However, both became used to living outdoors before a foster was found, were frequently chased by aggressive dogs, and will need longstanding safety measures taken to prevent them from escaping your home.
