Story
A warm hello to you. I'm ELLERINA and here is a little info about me:Breed: Canaan Dog/Saluki mixAge: 3 yearsGender: femaleWeight: 23 kgHeight: 45 cmHighlights: friendly, playful, eager to learn You will find here a very well socialized pupper. Pretty amazing given my start in life.Nearly a year and a half ago, my rescuers were called by a family here in West Bank, to take a mama and her puppies from their yard. They hated animals and didn’t want them around. So my rescuers took all us puppies, but couldn't catch my mama, as she ran away. Isn't that heartbreaking? They took us to their shelter, where we were given the treatment we needed.Being a friendly girl (though a bit shy/anxious to start), I will happily join your family for fun & frolic. I'm playful at the right level, not too hyper, not too dull. So, if you are like Goldilocks, looking for just right... that's me.While I can be independent, I am also faithful to my peeps. When hearing loud voices, I can get startled. I get scared by high pitched sounds of cars. So hoping you can reassure me on walks with cars around. Having been in the war zone here, it is going to take some settling learning, I am no longer in danger.I know how to walk with a leash and bonus score, am house trained too. See, just right. I am eager to please, eager to learn & given my confidence level, I should be easy to train. You'll find I am quite entertaining to watch. Especially since I can be curious about things. It will be amusing for you to watch me discover all the new things about life there in Canada.I get along fine with other dogs. With cats, it's a mixed bag, so probably a home without a cat is best. I haven't had interactions with children. I'm a cuddly and affectionate girl too. Energy Level: moderate                                       I get along with:Dogs: yesCats: NoKids: unknown Fears: Loud voices can startle me. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.Training:Leash skills: yes. Please be prepared to train continue training.House trained: yes. Please help me learn where to go in my new home. Health notes:I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. [TURKEY] *Dogs receive 4D SNAP tests - which include: Heartworm, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmania and Anaplasmosis. ##2038263##

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet Dorothy♠️ 💙 Dorothy's News Account: @mungmung.log 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped. * Has corneal edema, requiring consistent eye drops. This condition is not contagious. * Seems to overgroom recently and more attention has been paid in brushing her and cleaning the home. Especially during the change of seasons, we take care of her moisturizing. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Dorothy was found roaming alone on the floor of Gimje Shelter by an Adogs volunteer. She was a new born puppy who had only just opened her eyes. Although her mother was found at the same shelter, the extreme heat prevented her from caring for Dorothy, leading to her urgent rescue. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is shy to strsngers and a little bit fearful but warms up quickly. Stares fiest at a distance, approaches to explore and acts charming. Follows her foster parent around, sitting or lying beside them. However, rests independently on weekends when her foster parent is at home most of time. * With Dogs: Approaches first dogs who are smaller than her! Growls and gets defensive toward bigger dogs, being scared of them. Is indifferent to familiar dogs. * With Cats: Coexisted peacefully with cats without any issues at our center. Stops, stares, and then tries to get closer to cats who she encounters during walks. Follows the instruction of her guardians, when they tug the leash into other direction her, but keeps staring, while wondering. * Separation Anxiety: Can stay alone without barking or showing anxiety. Even sleeps well on her own. * Potty Training: Uses potty pads very well indoors without mistakes! Doesn’t mark with her pee and prefers outdoor potty. * Hygiene: Is comfortable with brushing. Doesn’t particularly like baths, the blow dryer, or nails trimming but tolerates and gets through it well. * Walks: Her energy levels are high at the beginning of walks and she pulls a bit. However, calms down after pottying. Tends to pull on the leash when she wants to sniff the grass or sees familiar people or birds to chase them. Is in training for this. * Car Sickness: Starts to drool after the car starts moving and vomits during long distance trips. Therefore, it's good to take breaks in the middle for a walk. Has no issue with short distances. * Biting: Does not bite at all! Shows some possessiveness over food though. * Barking: Whines when there's a noise outside or she wants to get out of kennel. Barks briefly out of excitement when her foster parent comes home. * Likes: Really likes people so she acts cute and asks to be petted! Loves food and tends to eat in a hurry so is being fed with a slow feeder. * Dislikes: Is scared of loud noises from buses, cars, or motorcycles. However, is okay with other sounds like vacuum cleaners. Feels uncomfortable if strangers keep paying attention to her at home. * Tricks: Learned commands such as "Sit down", "Lie down", "Wait", and "House"!

Story
Hello there! My name is Aleck, and I have an incredible story to share with you. Rescued from a dog meat farm in South Korea in 2021, I narrowly escaped a life of unimaginable hardship. Now, I'm ready to embark on a new chapter filled with love, joy, and endless tail wags. Here's a little more about me: Breed: Jindo mixAge: 6 yearsGender: male    Weight: 51 lbHighlight(s): Calm, Happy, Rarely Bark Despite the challenges I've faced in the past, my heart is full of love for humans. I'm a social pup who isn't shy around strangers - in fact, I quickly warm up to new faces and love making new friends. Even at the vet, I approached the nurses with confidence, eagerly accepting treats and showing off my friendly personality. I've been staying in a foster home since last March, and let me tell you, I've settled into home life perfectly. I'm completely house-trained and have no issues with separation anxiety. When my foster mom goes to work, I patiently wait for her to come back so we can go on our walks and have fun together. Whether it's a cozy condo or a spacious house, I know I'll fit right in and make myself at home. I get along well with other dogs, especially with gentle female pups. While I may be a bit reserved around male dogs, I'm friendly and enjoy saying hi and sharing space with my furry friends. I'm not much of a wrestler, but I love exploring the world and going for walks. I get so excited about our outdoor adventures that I voluntarily hop into the car because I know it means more fun times ahead. Recently, I even got to dip my paws into the sea water for the first time - what a thrilling experience! I do have a strong prey drive, so it's important to keep me leashed and away from cats, squirrels, and bunnies during our walks to keep everyone safe. I'm looking for a loving and understanding forever home where I can continue to heal and thrive. If you're an experienced pet owner who can provide a secure environment and help me manage my prey drive, I think we could be the perfect match. Let's shower each other with affection and create lasting memories together. I can't wait to find my forever family - could it be with you? Let's find out! Energy Level: I have a moderate energy level. I'm very calm at home. I like to chill out or take a nap. It doesn't mean I don't like walks. I love walks! I'm not nervous in new areas. I'm curious and adventurous. I get along with:Dogs: YesCats: No Kids: Yes Fears: Unknown/none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition. I haven't shown any signs of separation anxiety and I don't have escape tendency. Leash skills: Yes. Hi there, I'm Cumin! Here is a little info about me: Breed: Jindo/Shari-Pei MixAge: 3 yearsGender: Male    Weight: 75 lbHighlight(s): Good with other dogs, rarely bark, no escape tendency, no sign of aggression  My journey began in a city pound when I was just a tiny 2-week-old puppy, alongside my mom and siblings. We were lucky to have a young and caring mom who raised us all to be healthy and happy pups. I inherited a bright and friendly personality from her, and I love playing with my friends and toys. I'm a gentle soul who enjoys the company of others. If I find a special toy, I like to have some quiet time to play with it in a cozy corner. I get along well with other dogs, and I'm always up for a good play session. While I haven't met any cats yet, I'm open to making new feline friends. I have a moderate energy level, so I enjoy outdoor activities but also appreciate some calm relaxation time at home. I may be a bit unsure and scared when it comes to new experiences like walks, but with the right family to guide me, I know I can learn to enjoy exploring the world around me. I haven't shown any signs of aggression, resource guarding, separation anxiety, or escape tendencies. And while I'm not housetrained just yet, I'm eager to learn and please my new family. If you're looking for a sweet and kind companion to join your family, I could be the perfect match for you. I promise to bring lots of love, joy, and tail wags into your life. Story
Hi there! My name is Sonny—named after the legendary Korean soccer player, Heung-min Son!  Breed: Jindo MixAge: 5 years oldGender: MaleWeight: 47 lbs (21.5 kg)Height: 20 inches (51 cm)Country of Origin: South KoreaEnergy Level: Moderate (medium or medium-low)Highlights: Sweet, affectionate, friendly, well-behaved, smart, and a big face (LOL)!   My Story I’m a wonder boy from South Korea with an incredible story to share. I was rescued from a high-kill shelter—on the very last day. Want to hear how I made it out? https://www.youtube.com/shorts/BtM2gUdHVuY I come from a rural area, nestled deep in the mountains. I survived in the shelter there for two long years. Then, on a scorching summer day in 2025, the shelter issued a euthanasia notice for 40 dogs—and I was one of them. Volunteers did everything they could to spread the word and seek help. http://www.youtube.com/shorts/HpeehQr-aGE That’s when a miracle happened. Kind-hearted rescuers, connected with LALDR, stepped in just in time and saved me. They thought I reminded them of their previous rescues (and adopted through LALDR). There’s no record of my past or family, but my rescuers quickly realized how special I am. I even held my pee and poo in the crate during the first long drive—like a true gentleman! Because I sometimes scrunch up when I’m scared, they think I may have been tied up or mistreated before I entered into the shelter. But don’t worry—I don’t show any signs of trauma. http://www.youtube.com/shorts/6M-Z-YCV-co My Personality I’m a very gentle, smart http://youtube.com/shorts/LdAdnHzgjiw?feature=share, and affectionate boy, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ILjoDtlT7w with what my rescuers call a naturally bright and cheerful spirit. http://youtube.com/shorts/kph9U3QXjDU?feature=share  http://youtube.com/shorts/-3yAh_DkWT4?feature=share https://youtube.com/shorts/ukj30DgsvGY?feature=share  I absolutely love people and get along wonderfully with other dogs and even with cats! (I have lived with a cat at the previous foster home for two months!) http://youtube.com/shorts/MsCQZMhQDN8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zANi1B8WfyI http://youtube.com/shorts/b5DuAzv8wq8  https://www.youtube.com/shorts/8W8RI05iJys   I never bark, and I’m perfectly house-trained. I even enjoy bath time! https://youtube.com/shorts/dqHZ_2ZBzyc?feature=share https://youtube.com/shorts/TjB0nm2UMq4?feature=share When I first came indoors, everything was new to me, but I’m a quick learner and quickly picked up on what my humans wanted. Within just a few days, I settled right into household life and became completely comfortable at home. My foster says he has never met such a gentle and intelligent dog, and that I'm the perfect partner for people. At home,  I’m calm and easygoing, but I’m always ready for a nice walk or an outdoor adventure.  http://www.youtube.com/shorts/NHPGn0d_gVs  https://youtube.com/shorts/exLCExq3Xks Riding in the car is no problem for me either! https://youtube.com/shorts/iOuuVh_BdHA https://youtu.be/6I4QIb8Qklg I truly enjoy the company of people and going on walks with those I love. https://youtu.be/FQjwgYBEFlk  https://youtube.com/shorts/CME2j5HCbLY?feature=share   My Health I’m in excellent health, and my vet even says I might be younger than five! (I underwent a full veterinary screening when I was neutered and have been under good medical care ever since. In addition, my rescuers will provide all of my medical records upon adoption.)  Now, I’m staying at the foster home and patiently waiting to find my forever family. If you give me your love, I promise I’ll return it a thousandfold. Let’s write a beautiful new chapter together! My Compatibility I get along with:Dogs: Yes!Cats: Yes! http://youtube.com/shorts/1fohg5ufQ2Y?feature=share https://youtube.com/shorts/4sTzUhvAw6Q?feature=shareKids: Not sure yet.Training:Leash-trained: Yes – I walk very nicely with people, though I sometimes pull the leash a bit if something suddenly startles me. House-trained: Yes – I’m naturally house-trained and never have accidents indoors.Health Notes: I am neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.
